Certainly not your typical Las Vegas attraction “Bodies … The Exhibition” will evoke a wide range of emotions. Located at the Tropicana this exhibit has been on display in both New York and London.

A few of the features of Bodies include:

* Whole body specimens in poses such as conducting music,, throwing darts, curling a discus, and pitching a baseball.
* Over 260 organs and body parts are displayed.
* Several displays of the human system including the nervous, digestive, and muscular systems.
* A display showing the skeletal system includes showing that children’s bones grow faster in the spring.

One of the most impressive displays is the respiratory system that shows how a pack of cigarettes takes over two hours off a person’s life and the side by side examples of a healthy heart and lungs next to a smoker’s heart and lungs.

Other displays show the effects of not only smoking but over eating and lack of exercise on the human body.

Warning, parts of “Bodies … The Exhibition” in Las Vegas can be rather disturbing but can be bypassed. The display is however open to all ages and is an attraction that will leave a lasting impression.
