Las Vegas has a total of 113 hotels throughout the city. Some are small, but almost 40 of them are very large with more or less 1,000 rooms each. That’s a lot of hotel! Names like Caesars Palace, The Sahara, The Hard Rock and others are pretty much household names. But these are the mere tip of a large iceberg.

Of course, the hotels of Las Vegas are not just hotels in most cases. they also house casinos, and that’s what people stay in the for most of the time. Apart from arriving and leaving, some people never see the light of day during their trip to Las Vegas. They leave their room in the morning, go down to the casino where they stay all day, eating in the restaurant when it’s necessary, and going back to the room to sleep very late.

Most of the best-known hotels are on the Strip. But some like the Fairfield Grand Desert Resort and the Green Valley Ranch are not on the strip. So don’t be afraid to leave the strip in search of Las Vegas hotels. There are plenty out there for everyone.
