There are hundreds of fine restaurants in Las Vegas. More than enough to choose from, all with their pros and cons. Among the finest to be found is one that stands on the site of the former and legendary Sands Hotel. It is the Zeffirino Ristorante at the Venetian.
As the Las Vegas Review Journal says, “…step into the romantic, dark woods of Zeffirino and you’re suddenly in Italy. Chef Gian Paulo ‘Zeffirino’ Belloni is serious about his seafood with an Italian flair, from the oyster bar on the ground floor to importing his own tomatoes and olive oil. All breads and pasta are baked on-site, and the pesto is world-famous.”
Some seriously famous people have agreed too. They include, Frank Sinatra, Mikhail Gorbachev, Luciano Pavarotti, Pope John Paul II, and Muhammed Ali. Thousand of ordinary people agree too; the Zeffirino Ristorante at the Venetian is simply outstanding.
You can sit and overlook the Grand Canal. It’s not the one in Venice of course, but it’s the closest thing to it to be found in the USA! Forget the lack of real authenticity - it looks real. And besides, the food is real - real good too. Some have considered the food to be the finest in the world. You’ll have to make up your own mind about whether or not that’s an accurate description. But I feel sure you will be very pleasantly satisfied with what you will find in Zeffirino Ristorante, the pride of the Venetian Hotel and Casino, one of the Las Vegas restaurants that you won’t forget in a hurry.
