You’ll be picked up from your hotel in Las Vegas and taken to an air-conditioned motor coach to start on a two and a half hour journey from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon. En route you will be driven over the spectacular Hoover Dam and along the historic Route 66, made famous in song.
When you finally arrive at the bottom of the Grand Canyon after a bumpy 17 mile ride down from the canyon rim, you will put on your life jacket and listen to the safety instructions. Then you board the inflatable motor-power raft and you set off.
Mere seconds after leaving you will get wet as you hit the first set of rapids. But it doesn’t stop there. You will have some five and a half hours of rafting through 40 miles of white water. But you will get to see some of the most spectacular scenery ever seen by man or woman.
At the end of the journey you will be picked up by a jet helicopter and lifted up the 4,000 feet to the top of the rim. You will then be driven back to Las Vegas, through the Joshua Tree Forest and the Hoover Dam. It’s one heck of a journey, so be sure you don’t miss it!
