They call it dancing in the skies, and it really is a bit like that. If you’ve never been up in a glider, then you are definitely in for a treat if you take the sailplane and glider Las Vegas tour.

It may only last half an hour or so, but hey - what a half hour it is! You will be thrilled, spilled and plain exhilarated beyond anything you ever imagined possible.

This Las Vegas tour starts with a drive out to Jean, Nevada. You can either make the trip yourself, or let the tour people take you, though that does, naturally, cost a little extra. Of course you have to put your trust in the pilots, but know that the pilots have decades of experience between them, so you are in safe hands.

The great thing about a glider is that you can sit up front, and you do in this flight. Expect to experience loops, stalls (don’t panic - they recover from them), high G and low G maneuvres, and high flying wing-overs. What?
