Bally’s hotel and casino that stands at the intersection of Flamingo Road and the Las Vegas Strip is home to Jubilee! This show has been running for almost 30 years and doesn’t seem as if it will stop any time soon.
The All Access Backstage Walking Tour At The Jubilee!, one of the best Las Vegas attractions, is the perfect complement to seeing the actual show itself. But the tour can also be taken in isolation if preferred.
Backstage at the Jubilee! is a technical marvel. This is one of the largest stages in the USA and it shows. There are three lifts, two revolving parts and two wagons. It needs to be seen to fully understand what it’s all about.
But of course, the tour is really all about the Las Vegas showgirls. At the Jubilee! they are very much in evidence. The amazing bit is the speed that they can change costumes. On the tour you will see for yourself just how difficult that is for them. They can make anything up to ten trips up two full flights of stairs during every show!
Showgirls are allowed a mere two minutes to change costumes, shoes and headdresses. The headdresses can weigh up to 35 pouunds, so you can see that their job is not all plain sailing. The costumes are the same ones worn by showgirls three decades ago, and were designed by people such as Pete Menefee and Bob Mackie. Why don’t you srop along for the tour at the Jubilee!, and even go to see the show itself. You’ll love it!
