Las Vegas is an eating person’s paradise. Nowhere else can you eat like a king on a pauper’s budget in surrounding that are simply quite magnificent. It all started in the 1940s with buffets to quickly satisfy the appetites of hungry gamblers. They still have that kind of mentality in many of the places, but the quality has risen to outstanding levels, and the prices have stayed affordably low.

If you are after Mexican food you couldn’t do better than Frank and Fina’s Cocina on West Charleston Boulevard. They serve traditional Mexican fare with speciality dishes from the Yucatan Peninsula.

The Boulevard Bar & Grill on South Las Vegas Boulevard specializes in pork. The pork chop special on Thursdays is remarkably good value. Check out their soups too. Their idea of a bowl is most people’s idea of an entire cauldron! This is a great, friendly place with excellent food.

Boston Pizza, also on South Las Vegas Boulevard, serves some of the finest freshly baked pizza you will ever come across. The do take-outs and delivery and their service is every bit as good as the quality of their food.

If you like food from the Orient, then maybe the Bangkok 9 Thai-Chinese Food is where you should be going. They serve a wide variety of Asian dishes, specializing in Chinese and Thai. The food is authentic and truly glorious. Consider the panang, also the red curry. You will become their prisoner for sure…

Las Vegas restaurants are not all located in the famous and sumptuous hotels that have become household names. There are many excellent low-priced restaurants in the lesser famous places in Las Vegas that are every bit as good as their more famous counterparts – and cheaper too!
