Las Vegas Eiffel Tower Restaurant

Have you ever been to Paris, France? If so you probably noticed a large, steel framed tower in the middle of the city. The Eiffel Tower, named after Alexandre Eiffel who led a team of crack engineers who built it. In 1889 it cost around half a million dollars and it stands 985 feet high. It was built for the World’s Fair, which coincided with the centenary of the French Revolution.

Fast forward to the 21st century and now you can find a similar tower, not quiteso high mind you, but an exact replica, in the middle of Las Vegas. This is the resort of Paris Las Vegas. It’s a hotel and casino and resort area. They have replicated the Arc de Triomphe and there are Parisian streets with little Parisian cafes. It’s all very realistic and a world away from Las vegas in style and time.

In the middle of all this there is the Eiffel Tower restaurant, right at the top of the replica tower, some 11 storey’s high, towering above the Strip. To reach this restaurant you need to go to the casino-level desk, check in there, and then ride the glass elevator which will take you to the restaurant itself.

The view is simply out of this world. You will never see the Strip looking so magnificent. Then there’s the food. It’s good too. Of course it’s good! here’s what www.vegas.com say:

“The view and the food provide a peerless experience. Never will you taste a better lobster Thermidor. Eiffel Tower’s take on the classic lobster dish is a divine updated version. Let your first taste be Maine Peekey Toe crab salad, the ultimate beginning to a superb meal.”

I couldn’t have put it better myself. Oh, they won the Triple A Four-Diamond Award in 2004. That’s not an easy one to win, and only the best restaurants are in the running. That says a lot about the Las Vegas Eiffel Tower Restaurant.
