This is an unusual show. It features cat and dog rescues trained by Gregory Popovich. It’s a family kind of show. A bit old fashioned at times, but good clean fun that will amaze and captivate you. You will see cats, dogs, mice and birds flying, leaping, dancing and jumping, doing tricks that you never believed possible.
There are no trick as such at Gregory Popovich’s Comedy Pet Theatre. What you see is what is happening. These animals really have been trained to perform in all the amazing ways that you will see. These are all creatures that have been rescued from animal shelters, which makes it all the more amazing.
“…if you sit back and attempt to enjoy the performance without any “Cirque De Solei” expectations I think you may find yourself both entertained and pleasantly amused by the antics of this odd Soviet clown and his performing menagerie. The animals are adorable and, by the end of the show, you get a strong sense that Mr. Popovich really does enjoy what he does. In a strange way, this show felt to me like the quintessential Vegas experience- gimmicky and bizarre, yet hopelessly alluring.” http://las-vegas-hotels.tripadvisor.com/

There have been negative reviews about this show, but to be fair most of them have been directed mainly at the V Theatre. It has a flat seating arrangement, so that those sitting several rows back tend to be looking at the head in front of them. To compensate for this there are large TV screens on either side of the stage, but not everyone wants to pay to watch TV.
That apart, this is a good professional show. The animals have been expertly trained and the show has a slick, though old-fashioned feel to it. It isn’t the highly polished routines that you will find elsewhere, and quite frankly, it’s all the better for it!
