Who doesn´t know and love the stunning pyramid that is the Las Vegas Luxor Hotel? However, the hotel owners feel that the exterior of the Luxor offers a promise that just isn´t fulfilled inside. So this amazing Egyptian style Las Vegas hotel is about to get a makeover.

The Las Vegas Luxor hotel is huge and redecorating is going to be a big job, with the 2,500 rooms that are inside the gleaming pyramid set to be remodeled. Also, the atrium will get a brand new look, since the casino was redone just last year, fitted with brand new slot machines and a different carpet, among many other changes.

MGM Mirage has taken over control of the Las Vegas hotel and intends to remove most of the interior Egyptian theme, saying that it is being “run as a dormitory”. So, look forward to seeing a brand new, beautiful and more feature-filled Las Vegas Luxor hotel in the near future!
