The Mob has been active in Las Vegas for generations and characters like Anthony “the Ant” Spilotro and Sam “Momo” Giancana are just a couple of the men who transformed the shady side of Las Vegas.
Spilotro, for example, originated in Chicago, but arrived on the Las Vegas mob scene in 1971, where he began his Las Vegas career with a handful of neat murders to clean things up a bit. The victims were tortured and buried out in the hot desert, never to be seen alive again.
