Real Las Vegas weddings just cry out for Elvis to serenade and most chapels have an Elvis impersonator to croon to you as you walk down the aisle, but that´s about it. If you really want to celebrate with the King of Rock and Roll, you need to check out which Las Vegas wedding chapels offer more.
Look for a Las Vegas wedding package that will let you have the King sing several songs and you´ll really get into it. A few even offer to let Elvis (well, an impersonator, that is) actually perform the ceremony to make your Las Vegas wedding a truly special event for you. It will be something that you´ll never forget, especially since many of these packages also include DVD recording and several photos to help you remember the occasion.
Don´t forget to bring along your special requests, most Elvis impersonators can do the whole song list, so you are often welcome to ask for specific songs. This is your day, so why not make a special request so you can have it just the way you want it? Remember that checking out different Las Vegas wedding packages is the best way to find one that suits you and your level of enthusiasm for Elvis.
Las Vegas restaurants are numerous and you will literally find everything from the infamous $2.99 lobster special to high priced, quality restaurants that serve top quality gourmet food. However, if you are somewhere between those two price ranges and just want good food for your family that doesn´t cost an arm and a leg, then you might want to try the Sahara Buffet.
This buffet is located in the Sahara Hotel, one of the older hotels on the Strip. There are several Las Vegas restaurants inside, ranging in price from low all the way up to fairly high priced. For families, though, the Sahara Buffet is a good bet.
Enjoy a huge spread of food, with lots of desserts to enthrall the kids. There are also sections for seafood, Chinese food, Italian and a variety of other cuisines that you may enjoy. The selection is great and you will be pleased with the friendly service of the cashiers and buffet attendants.
Las Vegas restaurants aren´t all great . . . in fact you will hear about a lot of not so great buffets that serve tepid food and tasteless junk, but the Sahara offers quality food for the price and a good family atmosphere.
Wouldn´t you love to save $500 on your Las Vegas vacation? Well, who wouldn´t? There is a great new discount card in Las Vegas that allows you to get the best discounts out there on everything from shopping to spas to hotels and casinos on the Strip.

Many business people are finding the Las Vegas Bite Card to be extremely useful as they pop in and out of the city on a regular basis. Las Vegas tours can take you just about anywhere within the city and nearby, but one particular area that holds a lot of fascination for visitors is the Las Vegas tour to Death Valley. Just the name gives you chills!
Death Valley usually brings to mind the stereotyped desert scene, sand, heat waves and a sun-bleached cow carcass . . . but there is far more to this desolate place. On your Las Vegas tour to Death Valley, you will be able to see a little more and you´ll be amazed at how much more than sand exists in this valley.
For example, did you know that Salt Creek runs through this supposedly barren valley? The creek is the only place in the world where you can find the Salt Creek pupfish . . . and it is actually below sea level! In addition, on this Las Vegas tour, you will get the chance to walk across part of the Badlands, 282 feet below sea level. This is the lowest point of land in the entire Western Hemisphere.
Death Valley is full of surprises, like the Artist´s Palette where you´ll find rainbow hued rocks, or Dante´s View, where you can enjoy the true splendor of this valley. Your Las Vegas tour will open your eyes to a whole new side of Death Valley.
Are you a NASCAR fan? Then you´ll be thrilled to be in Las Vegas between Feb. 29 and Mar. 2! NASCAR is roaring into Las Vegas for those three days and the place will be filled with the sound of motors revving and all the excitement of a big race.
On the 29th, you can check out the Pole Day qualifying races and on March 1st, Busch Series Sam’s Town 300 race. These will all take place at the Las Vegas Speedway, located just north of the Strip, so it is pretty easy to get to by taxi or rental car. You can expect to find it packed this time of year, though, so book your tickets before you get there, if you can find any this late in the game!
However, all is not lost if you can´t get tickets. Just head over to the NASCAR cafe and watch all the action live on their multiple screens. It´s almost as good as the real thing, and you can enjoy a great community atmosphere at the same time! Everyone will be rooting for their favorites, so if you are in Las Vegas during NASCAR season, remember that there will be a race car frenzy going on! Enjoy it while you can.
Anyone who has ever traveled to Las Vegas in the heat of summer knows that it can really get hot. Too hot, even! But there is a great Las Vegas show to chill things down a bit, imported from Russia.
ICE is a chilly Moscow winter show brought to Las Vegas. On a hot day, or any day, for that matter, this Las Vegas show is the perfect way to cool down while watching amazing antics on ice. Fast skating, aerobatics and great music make this a show to remember.
ICE is a Las Vegas show featuring 42 Russian ice performers, some of the top skating professionals in their field. With music ranging from blues to pop, you will enjoy watching these performers dazzle you with their story set to music. If you enjoy watching the skating competitions for the Winter Olympics, you will love this Las Vegas show!
On a hot day in Vegas, it´s nice to get inside for a while. Most Las Vegas shows are air conditioned, but nothing like ICE! With a skating rink to keep cool, this show offers lower temperatures and a welcome relief from the desert heat outside! Plus, if you book now, kids can get in for free with a paying adult!
Las Vegas shopping is practically synonymous with the Fashion Show mall. It´s a truly amazing shopping mall with over 250 different stores to choose from. That, in addition to several other beauty treatments, free gifts with purchase and discounts! Not bad for a Las Vegas shopping tour. Especially if you´ve been less than lucky at the slots!
This video is simply amazing! Not only is it well-shot, it features some spectacular views of the Grand Canyon’s Skywalk and brilliant Native American music in the background. The Grand Canyon Skywalk is only 2.5 hours from Las Vegas and is a glass bridge that is suspended 4,000 feet above the canyon. It has a horseshoe shape and protrudes 65 feet from the edge. If you have never seen the Grand Canyon or have yet to see the skywalk, this is certainly a video to entice the appetite. Luckily when you visit Las Vegas and the surrounding areas, you don’t necessarily have to worry about losing all your money on the slots. You and the family (or friends) can always venture a few hours away to see some truly breathtaking natural views. If unable to visit, this video provides you with aerial shots you most likely would be unable to obtain on your own!
Many people don´t come to Las Vegas specifically for sightseeing. This is a city that has a lot of conferences and since the Grand Canyon is so close, people often make a detour to see it and spend the night in Las Vegas. Tours that take a whole day just aren´t suited to these people who are pressed for time and simply can´t be taking in the sights in a leisurely manner.
For these people on time constraints, a Las Vegas express tour is the perfect way to be able to see important sights like the Hoover Dam without spending too much time. The average Las Vegas tour outside of the city takes anywhere from 6 hours to an entire day! With an express Las Vegas tour, you can be at the Hoover Dam and back in Las Vegas within 4-5 hours, making it a feasible trip for those on a schedule.
It would be a shame to get to Las Vegas and not take advantage of the amazing tours that are available. Just attending conventions and trade shows is no way to spend your time in this fascinating city, so make a little space in your busy day to check out express Las Vegas tours like the Hoover Dam Express tour and you´ll have something to tell your family and friends about!
Las Vegas is a great place to relax and have a massage or a hot stone therapy treatment or any other spa treatment you can imagine. This is where it all comes together. A blend of many different styles of relaxation and spoiling just for you.
Most Las Vegas spas are right in the hotels on the Strip, so you can enjoy an in-room massage or head down to the actual spa for a full on treatment. It is definitely the way to spend at least a few hours of your Las Vegas vacation time! Just pick your treatment, book it and plan to spend a good chunk of time simply relaxing.
Finding the right spa isn´t very difficult when you have so many to choose from. Just ask at the various Las Vegas hotels and find out what their spas offer. Getting a discount is always good, too. You may get an extra discount by staying in the same hotel, but a surefire way to do so is to simply pick yourself up a Las Vegas Bite card that will give you up to 25% off your great spa treatment.
Thinking about having a Las Vegas wedding? You might want to read through these common questions and their answers before you do, so you know what to expect.
Can I have a last minute Las Vegas wedding?
Yes, but only to a certain extent. You can´t just walk into a chapel and get married. Though the laws are pretty lax here, you will still need a marriage license. Some Las Vegas wedding packages include going to get your license.
Can I have a Las Vegas wedding at the Grand Canyon?
Yes, you can. It´s not difficult, in fact, you can simply purchase a Grand Canyon Las Vegas wedding package, which will give you everything you need, from transport and flowers to photos and a DVD of your special day.
Is it possible to have a big Las Vegas wedding, with guests?
Of course, but you will need to talk to the chapel you plan to use ahead of time to make sure they can accommodate your guests. If you will be taking a fancier package, like a helicopter tour, there is often a limit to the number of people you can have with you.
I´m divorced, can I still have a Las Vegas wedding?
Yes, you can, but you will want to bring your divorce papers along with you to get your license.
I´ve always dreamed of an Elvis wedding . . . is that possible?
Many chapels and other Las Vegas wedding tours offer the option of having an Elvis impersonator sing at your wedding, or even officiate. You can also choose from a variety of other impersonators like Johnny Cash.
If your idea of a Las Vegas tour has nothing to do with dune buggies, ATVs or jumping out of a plane, you might be a person of luxury. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. In fact, you´ll find that there are specific Las Vegas tours that offer luxurious transport so you can travel comfortably and in style to your destination.
Some of the best Las Vegas tours include the SUV Luxury tours to Eldorado Canyon, Mount Charleston, and Red Rock Canyon. These beautiful tour sites are even better when you are inside an air conditioned SUV!
Eldorado Canyon
Here you´ll visit the Techatticup mine and see some amazing rock formations as well as a number of other natural sights like teddy bear cholla and Lake Mojave, renowned for it´s bright blue waters. Definitely a Las Vegas tour to check out.
Mount Charleston
This rugged mountaintop offers a breath of fresh air to anyone who is weary of the heat down in Las Vegas. Tours to Mount Charleston will be refreshing and offer a break from the desert scenery . . . here you´ll see forests of trees!
Red Rock Canyon
Here you´ll find yourself awed by the incredible rock formations and breathtaking scenery. This area is often used in movies for the scenery. In Red Rock Canyon, you´ll be able to see fossilized sand dunes, rugged cliffs and stop at the visitor´s center to learn a bit more about the area.
Las Vegas is surrounded by fascinating natural sights and one of these is Black Canyon. Unlike the other canyons in the area which tend to have red or multi-colored rock layers, Black Canyon is . . . black. It almost appears that the canyon has been charred in a giant barbecue! And right through the middle of it all, the blue water of the Colorado River flows.
Black Canyon is the location of Ragtown, a jumbled city of cardboard boxes and tents built by the desperate families who came to work on the Hoover Dam during the Depression. They lived here because Las Vegas was too far away for them to walk to work. Though there is nothing left to indicate thousands of people once lived here, you can certainly imagine them, children playing on the riverbank while their mothers washed clothes and their fathers worked long hard days on the dam . . . some of these children still live in Boulder City, which was built to house the dam workers.
As you cruise down the Colorado River, you can relax and watch out for wildlife like mountain sheep and birds. The rafts are extremely safe, so you can rest assured that you´ll be secure as you raft. A little pause to lunch and swim near the Hoover Dam and then you´re ready to go souvenir shopping and to head back to your Las Vegas hotel.
Do you enjoy magic? Where better to see a real live Las Vegas magic show than in . . . well, Las Vegas? This city is well known for it´s amazing sights and tricks, so you should definitely make time for a quick magic show while you are in Las Vegas.
The Nathan Burton Comedy Magic Las Vegas show is one of the best that you´ll find around these parts. You´ll be rolling on the floor laughing as he cracks jokes and pulls off amazing stunts and impressive magic tricks and sleight of hand. If you have never seen a real live stage magic show before, than you HAVE to see this.
There really is nothing like stage magic. I don´t care if you´ve seen it all before on television, it is not the same as watching someone get sawed in half right in front of you. It´s just not. Full size, real life, no camera edits, no possiblity of editing tricks, you´ll be seeing the real thing, right there in front of you! It´s really the most amazing experience ever, as you will see when you book your Las Vegas show!
Hidden Valley is yet a lovely valley, though nothing like the Ranch dressing ads, near Las Vegas. Tours to this scenic landmark are daily and you can really enjoy having a day to just enjoy taking photos and touring Hidden Valley. The best way to do so is by taking ATVs out, which will allow you to get up close and personal to the history of this amazing place.
While in Hidden Valley, you´ll get a real feel for the history. This Las Vegas tour will take you past the old gold mines, long since shut down. These hills are full of the ghosts of people from a violent history of gold mining and fighting over claims. It was a rough and tumble place to be years ago, but it´s quite fascinating now!
You will definitely want to bring your camera on this Las Vegas tour, so you can snap shots of the old mines, Bonnie and Clyde´s death car in Primm, and the lava beds that have been here so long that they form a natural part of the landscape. Unfortunately, if you don´t have experience riding an ATV, you can´t take this Las Vegas tour, so you might want to learn to use one of these vehicles before you head to Las Vegas.
Las Vegas shows are renowned for their quality. Sure, it´s not exactly Broadway, but you´ll still have a great time enjoying any of the shows, comedy, musical or magic, that you encounter in Las Vegas. There is a lot more to Las Vegas shows than half-naked women and showgirls, so no matter what your taste, there is bound to be a show for you.
Las Vegas shows are something special. Very few cities offer such an array of entertainment as Las Vegas! Comedy shows are probably among the most popular around here, next to magic. After all, this is the city where David Copperfield made a name for himself and Siegfried and Roy have their very own statue! But some Las Vegas shows combine the two elements for an especially interesting evening.
A good way to make sure that you get to see the Las Vegas shows that you are interested in is to simply book the tickets before you go! It´s pretty simple to do online these days and you´ll be able to check out your surroundings without stressing over whether or not you´ll be able to get tickets. Many of the more popular Las Vegas shows tend to sell out quickly, especially when there are deals on them, so check it out before you arrive and don´t be disappointed!
Las Vegas tours to the Grand Canyon are many, but there is one in particular that allows you to take full advantage of this wonderful place. Checking out the Grand Canyon is something that anyone can enjoy, the incredible colors and striations in the cliff walls, the blue waters of the Colorado River far below . . . it´s an amazing sight.
The Grand Canyon is definitely a sight to see when you come to Las Vegas. Tours of the canyon often include the Hoover Dam, so you get to check out two sights in one trip, a great way to save time and money. You will want to ensure that you choose the best Las Vegas tour, one that includes the Skywalk.
The Skywalk is only available on some Las Vegas tours, but it is one that you need to see to believe! You can actually walk out into the middle of the Grand Canyon, suspended over the gaping canyon . . . it´s definitely not for those afraid of heights! But if you don´t mind, you´ll get some of the most incredible photos ever! Imagine taking a picture of the Grand Canyon, not only from the Rim, but from out in the MIDDLE of the canyon, suspended between the two rock walls? Nothing could compare!

Las Vegas has a side to it that you might never imagine . . . a softer, greener side! The Springs Preserve is a beautiful 180 acre nature preserve. It is where Las Vegas got its starts, since this is the location of the fresh water springs that provided life to the original settlers in the area.

In fact, you can fit it in with a Las Vegas Power Pass that allows you to jump to the head of the line and get major discounts on dozens of Las Vegas attractions.
The Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas is one of the most luxurious hotels that exists in the city. If you can’t afford to stay there, you can always watch their beautiful music fountain shows that are displayed on an eight acre lake that is located in front of the hotel.
The movements of the water respond to the Bellagio Fountain music which varies, causing it to have slow movements and then rapid ones when the music grows more intense. Inspired by the Bellagio Resort in Lake Como Italy, the choreographed water is certainly a sight to see!
This video shows some of the music show and after watching it, it becomes quite clear that this is one of the many reasons why Las Vegas should be the next vacation trip you plan.
Several Las Vegas tours offer you a more exciting time than simply taking a bus to the Grand Canyon or checking out the Hoover Dam. While these are a lot of fun, sometimes you just need a bit more adrenaline and dune buggies are the perfect way to go!
Taking a Las Vegas tour over the sand dunes of the Nevada Desert is not only a great way to enjoy some time with friends or family, it can be a blast checking out the scenery, too! If you´ve never seen sand dunes before, this could be quite the experience. Dune buggies are low to the ground, giving you a unique perspective of the desert. With full protective gear and metal roll bars, you´re pretty safe in these buggies, so you can just enjoy the drive.
A fun sport is revving your dune buggy up the side of a sand dune. It´s a fun Las Vegas tour to enjoy while you are on vacation. Though the tour might be aimed more at men, there´s absolutely no reason why a woman wouldn´t enjoy dune surfing in her own buggy!
There may be no place like home, but Las Vegas sure draws repeat crowds! Even if you´ve been once, you will enjoy returning to try your hand at winning that elusive million or checking out some sights you missed last time around. There are plenty of reasons to go back to Las Vegas, that´s for sure.
New Buildings. If you enjoy the thematic side of Las Vegas, you´ll want to check back often, to see all the new hotels being put up. It´s common practice around here to shut down older casinos and hotels, implode them and then build a brand new one on top of the same space. While this means that some of the old legends, like the Aladdin, are gone, new hotels are pretty exciting!
New Shows. There are new Las Vegas shows coming out all the time and other ones being retired. Don´t miss anything, come back and check out what you´ve been missing.
Tours: You can´t possibly see all the Las Vegas tours on one trip . . . you´re better off making several journeys to the city to check out all the sites, the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon.
There are a lot of great reasons to come back to Las Vegas. Whether you are just hoping to hit the jackpot this trip, or want to try a new ride or take a tour out into Death Valley, you will find yourself returning again and again . . . as it should be with any great place that you enjoy being.
Learning a bit more about a place before you visit is a great way to make the trip more interesting. Every area has interesting history and Las Vegas is no exception. In fact, Las Vegas might even be a little more exciting than many towns you´ll visit . . . take the Hoover Dam, for example.
Las Vegas was still fairly small back when the decision to harness the power of the Colorado River was made. It was just after the fall of the stock market and the Depression had begun, leaving many families desperate for money. The result? They flocked to Las Vegas in hopes of getting in on the action with the planned dam . . . but it wasn´t ready to be built yet and Las Vegas was nowhere near ready to accommodate the thousands of people that suddenly showed up with their few possessions, no money and hungry mouths to feed!
Las Vegas has its soft side, so the townspeople got together and made sure that the immigrants had at least food to eat, though they had to live out of makeshift tents. The government pushed the building date up six months so the workers could start sooner and everyone moved out to Black Canyon which was closer to the building site. With an intense heat that actually killed 25 people that first summer, there was no way to maintain fresh food or even milk for the babies. The men were working for just fifty cents an hour and couldn´t afford much at all, but there was a young man named Murl Emery who saw the need and opened up a store in Black Canyon, which was supplied daily from Las Vegas. He allowed people to pay what they could afford and even offered credit to the very poor. It was a godsend to the poor inhabitants of the tent city commonly known as Ragtown.
Eventually, the town of Boulder was built and in Boulder City, there are still some of those Ragtown children. They came to Las Vegas as tiny kids and continue to live where their parents worked so hard to build the Hoover Dam, an engineering marvel that still stands there as proof and hope for those who suffered through the Great Depression. Now, when you go visit Las Vegas and take tours of Boulder City, Black Canyon and the Hoover Dam, you´ll have a whole new appreciation for it!
Having a Las Vegas wedding can be a lot of fun and is often associated with being spontaneous. However, a little planning can go a long way. Even if you aren´t interested in throwing a great big wedding and inviting lots of friends, there are a few things to keep in mind, to make sure that you have the best day possible.
Weather. Las Vegas is hot in the summer, so if you want to get married then, you´ll want to dress appropriately. Light fabric works best for wedding dresses during this time of year and a simple, lightweight suit is more appropriate than a heavy tux for men. Otherwise plan a winter wedding when the weather is a little more temperate.
Timing. Book your Las Vegas wedding ahead of time to ensure that you get the date and time that you want. It´s no fun showing up at your chosen chapel only to find that they are full up for the day! Keep in mind that specific dates, such as New Year´s and Valentine´s Day will be busier than others, so either change the date or make a reservation. Also, if you want a longer wedding ceremony, you´ll need to arrange for it, since most chapels only offer 30 minute Las Vegas weddings.
Location. You don´t have to get married in a regular chapel here, there are plenty of other places to tie the knot. Your Las Vegas wedding can be anywhere from on a ski hill to atop a red rock spire in the Valley of Fire. Take your pick of locations and remember to book early.
Your Las Vegas wedding can really be the perfect day for you. Make sure you research your options and book ahead and don´t forget the marriage license!
Not all Las Vegas shows are strictly Sin City material. In fact, there are some very clean, fun Las Vegas shows that you can even take children to, if you are so inclined. However, for adults who would simply like to enjoy some entertainment without putting up with dirty words and naked ladies, here are three of the cleanest Las Vegas shows to enjoy.
Las Vegas Show One: Comedy Pet Theater
This is a Las Vegas show that everyone can enjoy. A collection of cute animals bring life to the stage with their antics and acrobatics. The pets are all directed by comedian Gregory Popovich, who has made appearances on shows like Jay Leno´s Tonight Show, Animal Planet and Extreme Variety. If you like animals and enjoy a good laugh, this is the cleanest comedy show in Las Vegas.
Las Vegas Show Two: Trent Carlini, The Dream King
What would a trip to Las Vegas be without something Elvis? This Las Vegas show is an amazing musical history of the King of Rock and Roll, performed by Elvis impersonator, Trent Carlini, one of the best in the business. This professional makes you really believe that you´re seeing Elvis at each stage of his musical career, right there in front of you, singing his greatest hits from the very beginning, right up to the end.
Las Vegas Show Three: Blue Man Group
As far as Las Vegas shows go, the Blue Man Group is one of the best. A mix of music, comedy and theater makes for a show that any age can enjoy. These unique performers, painted in blue, will leap and dance and act out social commentaries that will have you howling. It´s a great way to enjoy a good comedy without the crudeness that so many shows offer.
You knew that Las Vegas is more interesting from the air, but what about without the aid of a plane around you? Hundreds of people every year are enjoying a very exciting adrenaline rush as they leap out of a plane over Las Vegas. Some say it´s the best way to check out the city!
Free falling is something that very few people have actually done in their life, but there is no danger here, since you´ll be leaping out of a plane with a professional skydiver. Tandem jumps are a great way to get started in this addictive sport. You´ll probably enjoy your first jump more than any other . . . but even if you´ve gone skydiving before, Las Vegas skydiving is an adventure all to itself.
Since you are tandem jumping with an instructor, you can really let go and enjoy the dive . . . knowing that someone else is in charge of getting you safely to the ground. It´s a big leap of faith, but one that is very much worth it. You´ll have something to tell your grandchildren about, that´s for sure!
A good reason to book your Las Vegas skydive today is that you can get a discount right now. $25 off per person, and a free t-shirt. You can also choose between a smooth, tranquil ride to the earth, or a fun filled one with swoops and turns so you can really feel what it is like to be a bird.
Las Vegas restaurants are quite varied and allow you to experience a range of foods and styles. No matter what type of environment you´re looking for, it can be found in a Las Vegas restaurant. But one of the most popular places to eat in this city is Planet Hollywood. Designed around Hollywood movies, most of these chain restaurants are owned by celebrities, at least in part.
The Las Vegas restaurant is no disappointment. You´ll find that it is busy almost any time of day, that´s how popular this place is! Sit at the bar and have a drink while you wait for your table and admire the decor. Planet Hollywood is famous for having real props from real movies displayed on the walls and signed items by celebrities that have visited the Las Vegas restaurant.
In the Las Vegas Planet Hollywood restaurant, you´ll find items from several great movies, including Terminator. These are actual props that were given to Planet Hollywood for use in their Las Vegas restaurant, making the ambiance even more exciting. With great food and great music, this is the perfect place to enjoy a meal in the company of some major movie stars . . .albeit photos of them, unless you´re really lucky!
If you´re planning a bachelor or bachelorette party, ask about the special menu available at this Las Vegas restaurant and request private seating so you can get really wild! It´s an absolute blast! Better yet, pick up a Las Vegas MealTicket and enjoy major savings at this and other Las Vegas restaurants.
Las Vegas is surrounded by impressive valleys and canyons. One of the biggest attractions in this area is the Grand Canyon, of course, with it´s deep cut cliffs and crystalline blue Colorado River. But while Las Vegas may be the departure point for many tours to the Grand Canyon, there are plenty of other beautiful sights to see besides this major tourist attraction.
Just take a look at Ancient Valley. This Las Vegas attraction is one that very few people realize exists, which makes it that much more intriguing. In this amazing valley, you´ll find the remains of trees that grew here thousands of years ago and have now turned to stone. You can even stop and search out your own little piece of petrified wood to take home as a souvenir, if you like.
While you will want to check out the Grand Canyon while you´re in Nevada, it´s a good idea to take a Las Vegas tour to other attractions like Ancient Valley.
