Having a Las Vegas wedding can be a lot of fun and is often associated with being spontaneous. However, a little planning can go a long way. Weather. Las Vegas is hot in the summer, so if you want to get married then, you´ll want to dress appropriately. Light fabric works best for wedding dresses during this time of year and a simple, lightweight suit is more appropriate than a heavy tux for men. Otherwise plan a winter wedding when the weather is a little more temperate.

Timing. Book your Las Vegas wedding ahead of time to ensure that you get the date and time that you want. It´s no fun showing up at your chosen chapel only to find that they are full up for the day! Keep in mind that specific dates, such as New Year´s and Valentine´s Day will be busier than others, so either change the date or make a reservation. Also, if you want a longer wedding ceremony, you´ll need to arrange for it, since most chapels only offer 30 minute Las Vegas weddings.

Location. You don´t have to get married in a regular chapel here, there are plenty of other places to tie the knot. Your Las Vegas wedding can be anywhere from on a ski hill to atop a red rock spire in the Valley of Fire. Take your pick of locations and remember to book early.
