March 17th, 2008 by Las Vegas USA Blog

Las Vegas is full of bright lights and neon signs that have become famous over the decades. While some of the older ones have been retired, along with the hotels and casinos that once sported them, there is no shortage of neon and flashing lights on the Strip. Here are the top 4 Las Vegas lights that you must see while in town.

Las Vegas lights

  1. Freemont Street: This is definitely the main Las Vegas light event on the Strip! With amazing overhead light shows throughout the night after dark, you simply must catch this one, and it´s all perfectly free.
  2. Bellagio Fountains: While this famous Las Vegas attraction actually plays all day, the light show at night, combined with the elegant spurts of water really make this a beautiful sight to see.
  3. Volcano Fountain: Watch this amazing volcano erupt every fifteen minutes once it gets dark out . . . in front of the Mirage Hotel.
  4. South End: At the south end of the Las Vegas Strip, you can find a truly gorgeous light show . . . the hotels that form an intersection there are all brightly decorated with lights, making this a great photo op.
