While in Las Vegas, if you feel that you need to spend some time relaxing, the perfect place to do so is at the Eldorado Canyon. This beautiful canyon was one of the first places in Nevada that gold was found. It sparked the gold rush that led to settlers moving to the area and founding the towns found around Las Vegas, as well as Las Vegas itself.

Eldorado Canyon is a lovely place to visit and relax. While there, you can take a tour of the mine where miners toiled away, digging out gold by hand and following the veins deeper and deeper into the earth. It´s amazing that Las Vegas sprung from these humble beginnings, but it makes for an amazing tour.

The mines in the area aren´t the only attraction. You´ll also enjoy the incredible views from Lake Mojave and taking pictures of the rock formations in Eldorado Canyon. The best way to get there is to take a Las Vegas tour in a SUV. This allows you to get into some of the less accessible areas of the canyon that contain interesting sights.

Eldorado Canyon is a beautiful area to go and relax while you are in Las Vegas. It´s nice to get out into nature after the bright lights and noise of city. Take a day and hang out in the canyon, explore the gold mine and take some time to just chill out.
