Menopause The Musical has been making headlines since 2001. Touring from coast to coast this show has been entertaining women for some time now. This show is a 90 minute skit which takes place in a department store and shows the depiction of the rise of the women from the 1960′s up to present time. When four women in a department show trying on lingerie meet each other during a lingerie sale this all female cast goes through everything from hot flashes to night sweats and chocolate binges. These women who had nothing in common come together to form a sisterhood and realize that going through menopause is perfectly normal. Menopause The Musical has been seen in over 250 cities across the US and numerous other countries including the United Kingdom and South Africa. The show donates part of its proceeds to ovarian cancer research and on its 2005-2006 tour they had successfully raised $500,000 for ovarian cancer research. if you are thinking about visiting this show look for tickets in advance as many shows are already sold out.
