Have you ever been to the desert? Sure, you’ve seen what it’s like in movies and on TV, but do you want to actually experience it for yourself? If so, don’t miss the opportunity to take a day trip to Death Valley during your Las Vegas vacation.

The trip includes six stops in the Mojave Desert. First, you will be provided with a complimentary continental breakfast in Beatty, Nevada. Your next stop is Scotty’s Castle. After a 60-minute tour of the castle that takes you back in time, you will have free time to roam the castle grounds and enjoy a complimentary picnic lunch served on the castle grounds. The third stop is the Ubehebe Crater, which is all that remains from a volcanic eruption that was so violent that even the volcano itself was destroyed. The next stop is the Furnace Creek Ranch museum where you will learn about the history of Death Valley. Next, it’s on to Badwater, the lowest spot in the Western Hemisphere at 282 feet below sea level. At Badwater you will find a permanent spring-fed pool where you can actually walk on the salt flats. The last stop on the tour is at Rhyolite Ghost Town.
The Death Valley tour departs from most Las Vegas hotels and hotel pickup and drop-off is included. Departure time is between approximately 5:45am and 6:45am depending on the hotel location. Tour duration is approximately 11 hours.
