It´s practically an unwritten rule that you must see a Las Vegas show while in Las Vegas, and one of the shows that should definitely be considered is Barbra and Frank: The Concert That Never Was.

Barbra and Frank is a fantasy concert that combines two incredible singers that were never together in real life, but here, with the magic of a Las Vegas show, they sing together for your listening pleasure. This amazing, non-existent concert goes on to thrill all fans of Barbra and Frank with top songs and powerful voices. You´ll swear you´re really seeing the two of them up there on the stage together. If you are a fan of either singer, this is a Las Vegas show that you simply can´t miss.

Most people reading this won´t be heading to Las Vegas until the New Year, so let´s take a look at some of the shows you will want to check out. Plenty of Las Vegas shows are planning to continue for a good length of time, so you can book now for your upcoming vacation time.
Musicals don´t turn you on? Then you might be up for a belly laugh with Penn and Teller, humor mixed with magic, or maybe you prefer something more goofball, like Monty Python.

The Stratosphere is where the action is at for the all American Superstars. This is where you can see stars of the stage past and present, even dead or alive, all together in one neatly wrapped up show. Of course, it isn’t the real people. But the lookalikes are good. Really good! Besides, you know you have to suspend your belief, so relax and enjoy it.
“The most outstanding tribute entertainers in Las Vegas are showcased in American Superstars at the Stratosphere Hotel and Casino. This full-scale production show combines the talents of tribute artists portraying the likeness and musical abilities of today and yesterday’s hottest stars.” www.accessvegas.com

It’s not every day that $40 gets you the chance to see Elvis, Britney, Christina and Michael - all in one show. These tribute performers are good, so good you might just forget that it isn’t real. And that’s what you are expected to do; just forget reality and immerse yourself totally in the illusion.
The opening act sets the standard for the show, and it’s a high stabdard too. Darren Lee may not be a household name, but the man he impersonates is - Elvis. Darren was voted Number One Elvis Tribute Artist in Memphis. The show is on every night except Thursdays. Don’t miss it!

Las Vegas Revew Journal voted it one of the 10 Best Shows in the city. Most people who go to see it also agree. This is an adult entertainment show of fetish and fantasy. It’s eroticism at its best. It’s also the first arotic show in Las Vegas to make the 10 Best list of the Las Vegas Revew Journal, who also voted it as having the Best Choreography of all the shows in the city too.

“The Fashionistas is a gender-blending erotic extravaganza and a unique entertainment option never before seen on the Las Vegas Strip. With what critics call a “muscular and aggressive” staging technique, a hard-driving soundtrack, imaginative and unique costumes, and a humorous and sly story line, the Fashionistas pushes the envelope of human form, fashion and spectacle in high style.” www.fashionistastheshow.com
Playing at the Harmon Theater at Planet Hollywood, the Fashionistas is a highly memorable show. The costume designs are stunning and all original. There’s a large cast who have obviously rehearsed a lot. The music is a diverse mix of pieces from various sources that all fit together with surprising ease: Modonna, Led Zeppelin, Evanescence, Lords of Acid, Crystal Method, and Tool.

This is an electric show by John Stagliano. It’s intelligent and witty, humorous and slick without camp or cheese. It’s expertly produced and directed. Come along and see for yourself!

Penn and Teller are two well known and well respected magician and comedians. Their blend of comedy and magic is on the edge, biting, often tense (usually tense, in fact), ascerbic, outrageous, totally manic and always very, very funny.
Their biting style of black comedic mayhem is hypnotically fascinating - you just keep watching, wondering what the heck are they going to do next!

Well, you don’t have to wonder, for they are currently appearing at the Rio Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, and you can easily get tickets!
“Edgy, provocative and hilarious, this iconoclastic pair’s live show on any given night can involve knives, guns, a fire-eating showgirl and a duck.
“Known as the “Bad Boys of Magic,” for supposedly revealing the secrets to their tricks, they may show you how it’s done, but they still manage to leave you startled.” www.affiliate.viator.com
They stage a daily show at 9pm, except for Fridays. They have appeared on many of America’s top TV shows, including, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and The Late Show with David Letterman.
Entertainment Weekly even named Penn and Teller two of the funniest comedians alive. Don’t miss this 90-minute show that features the very best of these two incredible men. You’ll love them!

This is a show where you can either see it or be it. This is comedy hypnosis turning into unorganized chaos. Bit it’s fun all the way through, so it’s definitely worth staying the course, come what may.
Mesmerized plays at the V Theater. It’s a high energy show that mixes comedy with hot dance and invites audience participation - and gets it by the barrel load! There’s a lot, and I mean a LOT, of adult humor. The audience throw themselves into helping out Damien, the main hypnotist, and you will open your eyes wider and wider at what comes out from their unleashed subconscious minds. This is a revealing show, to say the least!
Don’t come to the show expecting just another hypnosis routine. This is everything but that. Damian may seem just another comedian who uses hypnisis, but he is a Certified Master Hypnotherapist. He’s appeared on TV, he’s been on films, and he’s had radio appearances. In 1999 he was nominated for the Prix Gemaux.
Mesmerized has been described as being the wildest show on the Strip. It is. Believe the hype!

“With David Saxe’s production background and creative mind combined with Damian’s hypnosis talent, Mesmerized brings a whole new hypnosis show to the Las Vegas Strip. “It is more than just a hypnosis show, it is a mixture of hypnosis, comedy, and showgirls,” said David Saxe, Show Producer and CEO of V Theater.” http://ticket.lasvegas.net

This is an unusual show. It features cat and dog rescues trained by Gregory Popovich. It’s a family kind of show. A bit old fashioned at times, but good clean fun that will amaze and captivate you. You will see cats, dogs, mice and birds flying, leaping, dancing and jumping, doing tricks that you never believed possible.
There are no trick as such at Gregory Popovich’s Comedy Pet Theatre. What you see is what is happening. These animals really have been trained to perform in all the amazing ways that you will see. These are all creatures that have been rescued from animal shelters, which makes it all the more amazing.
“…if you sit back and attempt to enjoy the performance without any “Cirque De Solei” expectations I think you may find yourself both entertained and pleasantly amused by the antics of this odd Soviet clown and his performing menagerie. The animals are adorable and, by the end of the show, you get a strong sense that Mr. Popovich really does enjoy what he does. In a strange way, this show felt to me like the quintessential Vegas experience- gimmicky and bizarre, yet hopelessly alluring.” http://las-vegas-hotels.tripadvisor.com/

There have been negative reviews about this show, but to be fair most of them have been directed mainly at the V Theatre. It has a flat seating arrangement, so that those sitting several rows back tend to be looking at the head in front of them. To compensate for this there are large TV screens on either side of the stage, but not everyone wants to pay to watch TV.
That apart, this is a good professional show. The animals have been expertly trained and the show has a slick, though old-fashioned feel to it. It isn’t the highly polished routines that you will find elsewhere, and quite frankly, it’s all the better for it!

The Soprano’s Last Supper at Krave Nightclub is a parody of the popular TV show about a family of Italian origin who area little mixed up in the darker side of business. The room is made to feel just like a genuine supper club, but this is a spoof of the well-loved Sopranos. It works too, but it gets better as it goes along; the early bits are a awkard, to say the least.
The show starts when the character, Tony, walks out in his boxer shorts wearing a bathrobe. He’s his usual suave self, scratching his nether region in an unselfconscious manner. He goes to the mailbox, opens it, takes out a letter, and shouts a very bad word. It’s the very first word spoken in the show.
From there you see scenes of the men under Tony, all looking tough. You see a session of Tony with his shrink, a woman who knows his better than he likes. At the Ba Da bang clib you see girls dancing. Then you discover that Tony has been indicted. You also discover that you will be one of the guests at his going away party, and that a successor will be named at the party.

It isn’t fair to give away anu more of this great show. Why not go and see it for yourself, and wallow in some Italian silliness (it’s a spoof, after all), and just relax and enjoy. It’s worth it!

This is definitely a girl’s night out show. OK, so some guys may like it too, but it’s really aimed at the girls just the same. What you get is twelve young men in perfect physical shape with rippling muscles and bronzed bodies, all with the kind of sultry looks that women have been known to die for. This is the Chippendales at the Rio Suite Hotel and Casino, one of the flashiest (pun intended) Las Vegas shows!

This is fantasy land for women. these twelve men run through a series of sexy fantasy routines that are actually tasteful, though maybe your grandmother might raise an eyebrow occasionally. The routines are artistic and senuous. This is a fast-paced dance performance theater show designed to make women forget the housework and forget reality too.
There’s even a Flirt Lounge that women can go to before and after the show. Sorry, but no one under 18 is allowed, and photo ID will be required, unless of course it actually is your grandmother.
“Spend a night with the all new Chippendales: The Show and excite all your senses as these handsome male performers seduce and entertain. Designed exclusively for women… Capturing the perfect balance of sex appeal and tasteful teasing, the shows steamy vignettes portray everything from men in uniform to dusty cowboys. Eliciting a wave of screams from their excited audience, the Chippendales dance and sing their way into the hearts of birthday girls, bachelorettes and girlfriends who just want to have fun.”
It’s probably true to say that this is a show that’’s not for the prudish. But it is for the woman who is comfortable with herself and enjoys a little bit of fantasy, but who also has her feet stuck firmly to the ground. If that’s you, then get ready for the Chippendales at the Rio Suite Hotel and Casino!
