Not everyone is a Las Vegas tour person. If you find that you would rather read a guidebook on your own or wander around without the guidance of a tour guide, then you need a self-drive Las Vegas tour.

With the Self Drive Hummer tour, you not only get to take your time . . . you get to do it in a Hummer! You can head to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon and take as much time as you need to check it out. Take a walk on the new SkyWalk, which takes you right out in the middle of the canyon, suspended in mid-air.
This is the perfect “anti-tour” Las Vegas tour. For anyone who needs to be in control of where they go and for how long, consider the Las Vegas Hummer tour, where you drive yourself, stop along the way and enjoy your tour at your very own pace . . . and in a Hummer no less!

Death Valley is a very famous location which is the focus of a day long Las Vegas tour. This valley features the lowest point below sea level in the Western Hemisphere and is a place that people flock to see. It is also one of the hottest places in the US, making it a far better Las Vegas tour during the winter months!

This is a great Las Vegas tour to take with your family. There is so much history in this area and you will see signs of it everywhere, even here, in the hottest place around. There are petroglyphs to be seen and the salt flats are absolutely amazing. Many people figure Death Valley is fairly small, but the truth is that it is quite large and you really need the whole day to see the best sights here.
Imagine when settlers from the East arrived in Nevada and stumbled across Death Valley, as you take your Las Vegas tour through this historic national park. It is now a park to prevent any further damage. If you are interested in seeing some historical locations and really get a feel for all the diverse areas around Las Vegas, this tour is for you.

Las Vegas is in a lovely area of the US, but many people miss out on the wide open spaces and beautiful rock formations because they head directly for the Hoover Dam or the Grand Canyon and never take the opportunity to really look at the desert. There are some great Las Vegas tours that you can take out into the Nevada Desert, but one of the best is a horseback tour that will let you see Las Vegas the way the settlers did.

This Las Vegas tour will take you through the desert on horseback, at the perfect level to see the desert and everything there is to see in it. You´ll definitely want to bring a camera with you so you can capture the wildlife and plants that are scattered throughout the area. But that´s not all you´ll see, this area is also rife with ghost towns and abandoned gold mines from years ago.
There is nothing quite like a Las Vegas horseback tour, riding through the desert, looking at hundreds of years of history. It´s a truly amazing experience and one that you shouldn´t miss. To top things off, you´ll enjoy an old-fashioned cowboy dinner at the end of your ride, with corn bread, beans and ribs, the stuff of cowboy legends!

Las Vegas tours to the Grand Canyon come in a variety of styles. You can take a bus, a plane, or a helicopter, or even drive yourself to the Rim to check out the scenery. With so many options, you might be confused as to which one you should choose, but we´ll make it super easy for you to decide.

The 4-in-1 Las Vegas tour to the Grand Canyon allows you to experience the absolute best of the canyon without having to take several different tours. Take a limo to the airport, where you´ll board a helicopter to fly to the Grand Canyon where you will be taken right down inside the canyon walls, to get out on the bank of the Colorado River! This is an amazing experience that simply cannot be paralleled by tours that only take you to the upper edge of the Grand Canyon.
Next, you´ll be boarding a boat and heading downriver as your guide narrates this leg of your Las Vegas tour. Finally, you´ll head back up to the rim and have about 4 hours to wander and take photos. There´s plenty to see before you enjoy a lunch at Guano Point. Then it´s back to Las Vegas, tour over. If you want a special Grand Canyon tour to remember, you will want to check this four in one tour out. Book early, since it fills up fast!

Can you handle a truly extreme Las Vegas tour? If you have experience riding a motorbike, then you will most definitely want to take part in this extreme Las Vegas tour . . . the Extreme Dirt Bike Hidden Vally tour. It´s a rush of excitement, adrenaline and a great way to check out the Las Vegas area at the same time.

Las Vegas tours are usually more sedate, taken on a bus or shuttle. But this tour will blow your socks off. There´s nothing like roaring through the desert heat to get a great closeup view of the area. You´ll see Joshua trees, lizards and all manner of cacti. Don´t forget to bring your camera along so you will have a chance to snap some desert scenes and maybe even catch that perfect vista shot from a sand dune.

If you like flying, the perfect Las Vegas tour for you is the glider tour. Gliders are planes without engines and they have an extra wide wing span to keep them aloft longer. In the narrow cockpit, there is usually room for just two people and the clear canopy curves over your head, giving you a very clear view of the Nevada Desert and Las Vegas.

Before you start to wonder if it isn´t a bit dangerous, taking off in a plane without an engine, don´t worry. You´ll be towed up with a plane and then the cable will be cut loose. Your expert pilot can either give you a smooth, relaxing glider tour or you can experience some flips and loops with a Las Vegas Aerobatic tour!
There is really no other sensation like soaring in a glider over the desert. Without the engine, everything is silent, except for the sound of the wind rushing over the wings. If you´re lucky, you´ll catch a thermal and, like a bird, soar higher and higher before gliding down to land in the designated landing area. Gliders are completely safe and the pilot can easily direct and maneuver it, as you´ll see if you take the aerobatic flight. This could very well be the best Las Vegas tour yet!
It´s highly recommended that you book ahead of time, since the gliders will need to be scheduled and this is a very popular tour.

While there are several Las Vegas tours that let you explore the area around the city, there´s nothing like a little dirt biking to make things interesting. Riding through the desert on a dirt bike is something that is sure to brighten your vacation if you like this sort of adventure.

The Las Vegas tour also takes you out to Primm, a fascinating little town where you can enjoy touring a museum, riding a record breaking roller coaster or simply wandering around and checking out Bonnie and Clyde´s death car, riddled with bullet holes.

The desert is a fascinating place, part of the reason there are so many Las Vegas tours that take you out into it so you can get up close and personal with the rocks and cacti and animals that live there. But it´s definitely not for everyone. Some people find the whole notion of taking a dune buggy out into the Nevada desert to be dull, but they haven´t explored the other options for seeing the desert.

A Las Vegas tour that really gets your blood pumping, high above the sand and twisted rock formations is the aerobatic flight. Imagine being in a plane with no engine, a thrill all in itself. The glider is a special plane that needs no propulsion, as it is towed into the air by a small aircraft. Once you reach the heights necessary, the tow cable is disconnected and you´ll find yourself soaring high above Las Vegas, with nothing but the sound of the wind to keep you company.
It´s an exciting enough journey just taking a glider flight, but for some real excitement, you can choose to have your experienced pilot take you through some loops, barrel rolls and other stunts that are sure to have you quaking in your boots by the time you land!
For a slightly different Las Vegas tour, consider taking an aerobatic glider flight over Las Vegas and the Nevada Desert. It is definitely one experience that you won´t forget in a hurry! Not recommended for those who get motion sick, obviously.

Las Vegas tours to the Grand Canyon can cost you a pretty penny, but it´s usually far faster than trying to rent a car and get there yourself. Look for discounts when booking your Las Vegas tours and you can save a lot of money, making those special tours something more affordable. Rather than drive all the way to the Grand Canyon, take a Las Vegas tour via helicopter and airplane that will not only give you a bird´s eye view of the place as you go, but also let you get right down into the canyon, definitely a must-have experience.
The Grand Canyon is a truly impressive wonder of the world and it is more than worth it to take a Las Vegas tour to this amazing site and really get to experience it by going right down into the canyon! There are Las Vegas tours in just about every type of transportation, from glider to dune buggy to Hummer. But perhaps the best way to see Las Vegas and the surrounding desert is to take a chopper up and enjoy a bird´s eye view of the beautiful colors and rock formations.

There is really nothing like seeing the amazing colors of Nevada from the air and a Las Vegas helicopter tour is just the thing. Helicopters are nice and safe when in good hands and you´ll have very experienced pilots taking you up. They know just where to hover to get you the best views, whether over the Strip at night, the Hoover Dam by day or the Grand Canyon. If you choose a Las Vegas tour to the Grand Canyon, you set down to check out the canyon in person. This is a great chance to snap some photos from the ground, giving your travel photo album a wide array of shots.
Las Vegas tours can be quite exciting, but nothing compares to flying over the bright red rock formations of the Nevada desert, looking down into the intricate canyons and valleys that surround this city and enjoying a truly unique experience.

Las Vegas has so much to offer and it can be a bit overwhelming, with all the casinos, slot machines playing music and dinging, neon lights. Las Vegas tours that take you out of the city and to a more tranquil place are bound to be popular, as you can imagine!

Moapa Valley has a very nice Las Vegas tour running to it. The valley is home to Muddy River, which originates at some warm springs and runs through the Moapa Valley before pouring itself into Lake Mead, formed by the Hoover Dam. This area is very beautiful and, with the river flowing through it, less desert-like than many of the surrounding valleys.
Taking a Las Vegas tour through this lovely valley is the perfect way to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Perhaps the best way to see this area is to take a horseback tour. Ride along the winding trails, enjoying the scenery until it´s time to return to the ranch. This is a very relaxing and tranquil way to chill out on a Las Vegas tour and is highly recommended.
Don´t forget your camera, you will be able to snap shots of the petroglyphs that are all over the place here, as well as the local wildlife, which abounds in the hills. You´ll likely see jackrabbits, big horn sheep and a variety of smaller critters, some of which may even let you snap a great photo to share with friends and family later on. If you are looking for a calm Las Vegas tour, this is it.

Las Vegas tours can take you just about anywhere within the city and nearby, but one particular area that holds a lot of fascination for visitors is the Las Vegas tour to Death Valley. Just the name gives you chills!
Death Valley usually brings to mind the stereotyped desert scene, sand, heat waves and a sun-bleached cow carcass . . . but there is far more to this desolate place. On your Las Vegas tour to Death Valley, you will be able to see a little more and you´ll be amazed at how much more than sand exists in this valley.

For example, did you know that Salt Creek runs through this supposedly barren valley? The creek is the only place in the world where you can find the Salt Creek pupfish . . . and it is actually below sea level! In addition, on this Las Vegas tour, you will get the chance to walk across part of the Badlands, 282 feet below sea level. This is the lowest point of land in the entire Western Hemisphere.
Death Valley is full of surprises, like the Artist´s Palette where you´ll find rainbow hued rocks, or Dante´s View, where you can enjoy the true splendor of this valley. Your Las Vegas tour will open your eyes to a whole new side of Death Valley.

Many people don´t come to Las Vegas specifically for sightseeing. This is a city that has a lot of conferences and since the Grand Canyon is so close, people often make a detour to see it and spend the night in Las Vegas. Tours that take a whole day just aren´t suited to these people who are pressed for time and simply can´t be taking in the sights in a leisurely manner.

For these people on time constraints, a Las Vegas express tour is the perfect way to be able to see important sights like the Hoover Dam without spending too much time. The average Las Vegas tour outside of the city takes anywhere from 6 hours to an entire day! It would be a shame to get to Las Vegas and not take advantage of the amazing tours that are available. If your idea of a Las Vegas tour has nothing to do with dune buggies, ATVs or jumping out of a plane, you might be a person of luxury. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. In fact, you´ll find that there are specific Las Vegas tours that offer luxurious transport so you can travel comfortably and in style to your destination.
Some of the best Las Vegas tours include the SUV Luxury tours to Eldorado Canyon, Mount Charleston, and Red Rock Canyon. These beautiful tour sites are even better when you are inside an air conditioned SUV!

Eldorado Canyon
Here you´ll visit the Techatticup mine and see some amazing rock formations as well as a number of other natural sights like teddy bear cholla and Lake Mojave, renowned for it´s bright blue waters. Definitely a Las Vegas tour to check out.
Mount Charleston

Red Rock Canyon
Here you´ll find yourself awed by the incredible rock formations and breathtaking scenery. This area is often used in movies for the scenery. In Red Rock Canyon, you´ll be able to see fossilized sand dunes, rugged cliffs and stop at the visitor´s center to learn a bit more about the area.

Hidden Valley is yet a lovely valley, though nothing like the Ranch dressing ads, near Las Vegas. Tours to this scenic landmark are daily and you can really enjoy having a day to just enjoy taking photos and touring Hidden Valley. The best way to do so is by taking ATVs out, which will allow you to get up close and personal to the history of this amazing place.

While in Hidden Valley, you´ll get a real feel for the history. This Las Vegas tour will take you past the old gold mines, long since shut down. These hills are full of the ghosts of people from a violent history of gold mining and fighting over claims. It was a rough and tumble place to be years ago, but it´s quite fascinating now!
You will definitely want to bring your camera on this Las Vegas tour, so you can snap shots of the old mines, Bonnie and Clyde´s death car in Primm, and the lava beds that have been here so long that they form a natural part of the landscape. Unfortunately, if you don´t have experience riding an ATV, you can´t take this Las Vegas tour, so you might want to learn to use one of these vehicles before you head to Las Vegas.

Several Las Vegas tours offer you a more exciting time than simply taking a bus to the Grand Canyon or checking out the Hoover Dam. While these are a lot of fun, sometimes you just need a bit more adrenaline and dune buggies are the perfect way to go!

Taking a Las Vegas tour over the sand dunes of the Nevada Desert is not only a great way to enjoy some time with friends or family, it can be a blast checking out the scenery, too! If you´ve never seen sand dunes before, this could be quite the experience. Dune buggies are low to the ground, giving you a unique perspective of the desert. With full protective gear and metal roll bars, you´re pretty safe in these buggies, so you can just enjoy the drive.
A fun sport is revving your dune buggy up the side of a sand dune. It´s a fun Las Vegas tour to enjoy while you are on vacation. Though the tour might be aimed more at men, there´s absolutely no reason why a woman wouldn´t enjoy dune surfing in her own buggy!

Las Vegas tours span everything from gliding high over the city to laughing your way through dinner at the Hoover Dam. There is really something for everyone in this city and if you are someone who enjoys nature and getting out on the water, you will love taking a boating trip down the Colorado River.

Drifting down the Colorado River is a great way to enjoy the amazing beauty of the Grand Canyon. The river actually carved the canyon out over thousands of years, gradually eroding down through the red rock until it became an impressive addition to the Wonders of the World . . . and you can now take a Las Vegas tour that allows you to enjoy the power of the very same river, in a pontoon boat that will get you up close and personal to the Grand Canyon.
This Las Vegas tour is luxury all the way. From the elegant motor-coach that takes you to the canyon, to the million dollar helicopter that will give you an enticing view as you slowly head down to the river where you´ll board your boat, everything is top class. After the journey down the Colorado River, you will have an appetite worked up so chow down on a cowboy dinner before heading back to Las Vegas via your luxury motor-coach.

Enjoy a romantic dinner for two at the Italian style resort restaurant, overlooking the lake.
Finish your Las Vegas tour off with a boat trip around the lake in the moonlight and then fly back to Las Vegas. Here, in the final leg of your romantic Las Vegas tour, you´ll be taken back to your hotel in the luxurious limousine.
