Many Las Vegas weddings are not people who simply ran off, unknown to the world, to tie the knot in Las Vegas. Quite a few are actually celebrities who are making a desperate attempt to hide their vows from the paparazzi. With so much coverage of everything to do with stars these days, it is quite understandable how a secret, midnight wedding in a small Las Vegas wedding chapel could be appealing.
Other celebs, like Britney Spears, fall into marriage after a night of hard drinking and quickly regret it, not the path to follow, for sure. However, many hot celebrities have made a complete success of their Las Vegas weddings.
Mia Farrow and Frank Sinatra wed at the Sands in Las Vegas, but many stars tie the knot in the more traditional chapels. When you plan a Las Vegas wedding, you´ll be in the company of people like Denise Richards, Pamela Anderson, Paul Newman, Jodie Sweetin, and Angelina Jolie to Billy Bob Thorton.
Las Vegas weddings are quite popular for their rapidity and efficiency . . . most ceremonies only last 15-30 min. The fact that they can be done quickly without anyone finding out until the deed is done makes Las Vegas weddings popular among the Hollywood crowd.

Looking for a super fast and convenient Las Vegas wedding? For those who just can´t wait, a drive-thru wedding window is the perfect way to go. At the World Famous Drive-In Chapel, weddings are super convenient and done in a jiffy.

That doesn´t mean you can´t have tradition involved though, Las Vegas wedding tradition, that is! Elvis can strum a little ditty while you say your vows and serenade you with a few songs afterwards as you enjoy your first moments as husband and wife in your limo. If you go for the package (really the best deal) everything will be taken care of for you. You´ll just need to hop into the limo and take off.
A marriage license is required for any Las Vegas wedding, but this is pretty easy to get. Pop over to pick one up in your smoking limo and then head to the chapel where you´ll say your vows, accompanied by Elvis. Then it´s a quick champagne toast, a copy of your wedding photos and DVD and you´re married!
Quick, easy and to the point. This is a Las Vegas wedding for those who are in a rush to tie the knot!

Anyone who loves Elvis will enjoy a Las Vegas wedding that is attended by the King of Rock and Roll. There´s really nothing like having a guy who looks just like Elvis singing your favorite songs while you tie the knot. Most Las Vegas wedding packages offer the option of having Elvis at your wedding. You can decide whether you want just a couple of songs or if you actually want Elvis to marry you (yes, there are impersonators who are licensed to do this!).

The choice is yours, but many people like Las Vegas for the convenience of a quick marriage, as well as the possibility of having a wonderfully tacky Elvis attended wedding. There´s nothing as fun as having some of your favorite old songs being crooned as you slip the ring onto your loved one´s finger.
Las Vegas weddings aren´t for everyone, but if you are addicted to the King, then you´ll definitely want to consider it. You don´t even have to get married in a traditional chapel. There are many options for tying the knot in Las Vegas, which you should definitely explore before deciding precisely how you want to spend your wedding ceremony. But one thing is for sure . . . if you want Elvis there, you will definitely want to be married in a Las Vegas wedding.

So, you want a Las Vegas wedding . . . it´s pretty easy to do! Here are the steps that you´ll need to take to go from simple tourist to a newlywed. And remember, Elvis is always optional.
- Decide on a venue. Where are you going to hold your Las Vegas wedding? Research the various options and then make a decision.
- Decide on extras. Do you want Elvis to officiate or that DVD of your entire ceremony? Make sure you won´t regret not having those extra photos.
- Pick out a gown. Your Las Vegas wedding dress can really be anything you like. Many people get married in jeans and a tank top, but if you want your wedding to be memorable, wear something more elegant.
- Get a wedding license. This is the most important part of your Las Vegas wedding, since without it, you won´t be able to wed.
- Tie the knot!
Las Vegas weddings can be a lot of fun and you should enjoy yours. Make sure it´s special and just the way you want it to be.

Not all Las Vegas weddings take place in a chapel. In fact, some of the most memorable ones will likely be outside the traditional venues. Why not enjoy something a little out of the ordinary and make your wedding day one of the best days of your life. It´s not that difficult, since Las Vegas offers a lot of options for this sort of thing.

Outdoor weddings are ideal for Las Vegas because it rarely rains here. With near perfect weather, you are ready to enjoy an outdoor wedding and you can even plan it ahead of time to be sure that you get a place. There are several beautiful destinations to choose from, but one of the most popular and most beautiful is Mount Charleston. If you want an outdoor Las Vegas wedding, then this would be a very good choice.
A Las Vegas wedding on Mount Charleston allows you to get away from the summer heat in Las Vegas and get up into the mountains where it´s quite a bit cooler. Here you´ll find forested slopes and a ski resort that runs during the winter. In the winter, this can also be a fun place to check out, whether you want to get married or ski.
Many people find that their Las Vegas wedding is far more memorable when held at an outdoor location. If that´s what you want, then consider leaving the chapels of Las Vegas and head out into the area around Las Vegas.

You can´t beat planning ahead for a Las Vegas wedding. It may seem like something that should be spontaneous, but if you insist on tying the knot last minute, it´s more than likely you´ll run into some glitches. Things like your marriage license are easier to pick up ahead of time, since you can´t start the ceremony without it!

Las Vegas weddings are pretty famous . . . and as a result, everyone wants one! That means Las Vegas wedding chapels are in high demand, so if you want to get the chapel of your choice, you´ll either have to wait in line for hours or book ahead. If you´re thinking of getting married in Vegas, why not go ahead and book the chapel ahead of time? You´ll save a lot of stress and it makes the special day a lot less stressful.
You can easily book online, so there´s no need to be calling Las Vegas wedding chapels up if you don´t want to. A couple of weeks or a month´s notice should be perfect to reserve your special spot, but if you want a special date like New Year´s or Valentine´s Day, you need to book up to a year in advance!
Make sure everything is just as you want it for your big day . . . ask for packages that include flowers, photos, and a video. Don´t forget to ask for the star of your choice (usually Elvis), too! Your Las Vegas wedding can be absolutely perfect.

Las Vegas wedding nights don´t have to be tacky. Your first night as a married couple certainly should be special and there are many ways to make it just that.
For the couple who likes it lively, a night out in the local club could be just what´s needed to relax. Head to one of the best Las Vegas nightclubs or just sit back and enjoy the nightlife in your own hotel. It all depends on how much energy you have to burn off before heading back to your room.
Of course, you can just skip the whole nightlife business and head straight to your room to relax. This is the perfect time to order some chilled champagne and strawberries, to deepen the mood. There´s nothing more romantic than some bubbly strawberries . . . and your wedding night should definitely be romantic. Consider getting flowers, perhaps rose petals to spread on the bed.
To top things off, ladies can show their brand new hubby a good time by surprising him with some moves learned earlier at the Stripper 101 class. This is definitely a great wedding night present!
Your Las Vegas wedding and wedding night should be extra special. Plan ahead and make it an extraordinary night.

Remember when you were kids and you roller skated together…..put make up on each other…..
stayed up late and talked about boys…..,laughed over silly things and cried over what we thought was the end of the world………….
Well now you are the Maid of Honor, and you have been asked to give a toast at the wedding……….You are not really sure what to do….you never liked speaking in front of people…now you have to speak at a very important occasion, not to mention speak about someone you love dearly……….
Well many people get this request and are not sure how to handle this……………….

Here are some tips to remember when preparing for this commemorative event……………………….
1. Before the event….think about what you might want to say. A memory is good to reflect upon, but remember not to bring up any embarrassing or negative thoughts.
2. Speak slowly and clearly…..take breaths and pause at the end of every sentence. You want your thoughts to be well heard.
3. Keep the toast to three minutes
4. Some people don’t want to get to emotional, so their toast is on the comical side. Think about which way you want your toast to be received.
5. When it is time to give the toast, stand up with your glass or champagne or sparkling cider in one hand partially raised. Then introduce yourself, glance around the room to make you as well as the guests comfortable, and then focus on the Bride and Groom.
6. Upon ending the toast, ask the group to raise their glasses in honor of the couple. You raise your glass, then everyone will clang their glasses together, take a sip of their beverage, and you can then sit down.
7. Mission accomplished!!!!

Everything is convenient in Las Vegas, weddings included! And nothing offers a faster wedding than the original Drive In wedding chapel. Imagine, not just for fast food anymore . . . you can tie the knot at a drive through window!

Just because you don´t want to leave your limo to wed, doesn´t mean your Las Vegas wedding can´t include Elvis. After all, it really wouldn´t be a Las Vegas wedding if you didn´t have that option! Your drive in wedding package includes the option to have Elvis attend your wedding, or not, whatever you decide.
The package also includes a great stretch limo with a driver to make your quickie marriage a romantic affair. In addition you will be given a rose bouquet and a rose boutonniere, plus a cd rom with 12 wedding photos on it and a pretty frame for your marriage certificate.
For any couple who doesn´t want to spend a lot of time on the ceremony part of things, the drive through window is a great Las Vegas wedding alternative. You´ll even be taken to pick up your wedding license in the limo before heading to the chapel.

Who doesn´t love a great wedding? Las Vegas weddings are famous for being accessible to anyone and fast. Even some of the top Hollywood and music stars have jumped on the Las Vegas wedding bandwagon. It´s such a quick way to tie the knot that it can be hard to resist.

Getting married in a cute little chapel that looks like something straight out of a young girl´s dream book is the way to make your wedding day special. If you have the chance, why not opt for the classic version of a Las Vegas wedding, in a sweet, romantic wedding chapel that will help you create memories for a lifetime?
Despite a huge percentage of Las Vegas weddings being planned last minute, there are still quite a few that are booked ahead of time and set up early. That´s probably the best way to do things if you know you want to be married in Las Vegas. It allows you to book ahead so you can get the date and time that you want. You can also make any special arrangements ahead of time so your wedding day can be just perfect.

While many people think that all Las Vegas weddings are pretty tacky, that´s not actually the case. You can have a very elegant, beautiful Las Vegas wedding and if you aren´t interested in the traditional Elvis attendance, that´s not a problem. Always an option, of course, but not mandatory!

A more traditional wedding is completely possible in Las Vegas. If you want to enjoy a beautiful setting, flowers and great Las Vegas wedding photos, that is definitely an option. There are actually a variety of chapels that offer very lovely areas to tie the knot.
Most Las Vegas weddings also include a DVD option, so you can watch your wedding day over and over. Also, while the typical Las Vegas wedding is just the couple and witnesses tend to be any impersonators or other person who happens to be at the chapel, that doesn´t mean you can´t have more people with you. Talk to the chapel ahead of time to find out what the capacity is.
Las Vegas weddings can be as beautiful and unique as you want. There´s no need to settle for a tacky one if that isn´t what you want.

Imagine a snowy backdrop to your Las Vegas wedding . . . complete with a ski hill right beside you! That´s completely possible with a Las Vegas wedding set on Mt. Charleston. Obviously, if you want snow, you´ll need to get married in winter, but this is a gorgeous place to tie the knot no matter what time of year.

Las Vegas weddings don´t have to be stereotypical at all. If you are interested in a more romantic option, you can certainly have it and you don´t even need to have Elvis present! In fact, many Las Vegas weddings are quite elegant, you just need to know what you are looking for.
With a mountaintop Las Vegas wedding, you will have some lovely photos to show your family and friends and to create a beautiful wedding photo album. The fresh air, clear view and the lovely mountain scenery is bound to make your wedding day a perfect one.

Have you ever thought of getting married in Las Vegas?
I am sure everyone has, since it is the wedding capital of the world.
Las Vegas Chapels have been portrayed in a certain light over the last decades, and times are changing. The old fashioned photos of someone knocking on the door in the middle of the night, with the husband and wife answering in the pajamas to marry the happy couple are long gone.

We are the most fun and economical place to get married!!! This town has opportunities for everyone that range from a $25.00 Drive up Wedding Window, to skies the limits! We have anything you can image from getting married by Helicopter in the Grand Canyon, or dressed as your favorite Character and married on the USS Enterprise at the Star Trek Experience.
The Las Vegas Wedding scenario has expanded from just strip chapels to chapels in the luxurious hotels, Golf Courses, Hotel Suites, Themed locations, and even at local attractions.
Several free standing chapels have changed their philosophy about just being a number game and want to create a “Vegas experience” to be remembered. The Banquet and Catering departments of hotels have seen larger groups wanting their “reception” in the banquet facilities, and some of them in their local restaurants. Again, the cost on this part of the function varies from location to time of the day your event will occur.

We are seeing larger groups coming to Vegas, as in the past it was smaller groups and a lot of just couples. There is still a great percentage of just the Bride and Groom, although when they inform their family and friends they are going to Vegas, everyone jumps on the bandwagon for the event.
The days of the $20,000 wedding still exists, although you can have a large group attend your wedding, have a fine dining reception with all the trimmings, DJ, flowers, photos, limos etc. for a portion of the cost.
Now Vegas also has created the perfect place for the last night of a single woman or man. Everyone is having Bachelorette or Bachelor parties by attending the shows that are not just for men anymore. The women can go to Chippendales or Thunder Down Under for an exotic male revue, and there are numerous Adult entertainment locations for the men. Again the cost is not prohibited.
The best part is that you can start in Vegas with your Bachelor / Bachelorette party, and then you’re wedding, and the honeymoon, while all of your guests have shared the most important day in your life, and are having a vacation for them. All at a fraction of the cost that other destination weddings cannot offer.
Please feel free to contact me if I can assist you with your Vegas Wedding plan!!!!

Las Vegas weddings should be romantic and there´s really nothing more romantic than taking a helicopter trip to the Valley of Fire to tie the knot. With the amazing scenery and spectacular rock formations, you´ll not only enjoy your wedding ceremony, you´ll have some stunning photos to take back to the folks at home!

Want to have Elvis at your Las Vegas wedding? You don´t have to sacrifice the beauty of your ceremony, since Elvis impersonators are available to accompany you to the Valley of Fire and croon some of the King´s most famous melodies as you wed. So you can really have the best of Las Vegas, a wedding in one of the most beautiful areas near Las Vegas and a traditional Elvis wedding at the same time!
If you´ve been dreaming of a romantic Las Vegas wedding, you can have it at the Valley of Fire. Just be sure to book ahead so you won´t be running into other couples out on the fiery spires of the valley and to ensure that you get the time slot that you want. But booking your Las Vegas wedding should solve all these problems. The package includes photos and a DVD of your amazing wedding, as well.

What Las Vegas wedding would be complete without Elvis? Some may call it tacky, but most agree that it´s a great way to spend your special day, being serenaded by the King! Las Vegas weddings offer you a variety off options, but you can be sure that there are plenty of people wanting to marry with Elvis in attendance.

If this has been your dream, for however long, you probably will want to make sure that you book your Las Vegas wedding with Elvis ahead of time, just to be sure you have a place. This is particularly important if you plan to wed on a big holiday, like July 4th.
Las Vegas weddings are often quite spontaneous, however, and you may find that you are booking last minute. That can work, too, but be prepared to stand in line. Each wedding can take between 15-30 min. and if there are several couples ahead of you, you can end up waiting quite a while! But rest assured that having Elvis croon his top songs as you say your vows is definitely worth it!

Las Vegas weddings are often considered to be tacky and last minute, but yours certainly doesn´t have to be. One way to make your Las Vegas wedding extra special is to write your own wedding vows. This is an excellent method of customizing a packaged wedding and turning it into something uniquely yours. Writing the vows on pieces of pretty vellum and tying it with a ribbon is a great way to keep these precious words for the future.

How to Write Your Own Las Vegas Wedding Vows
Agree. It really helps if both of you are in full agreement as to how long the vows should be and that you will write them yourselves.
Why. Include the reasons you love your spouse-to-be. These might include big things like “you love babies” to something so small no one else notices, “the twinkle in your eye when you´re thinking about your mom”.
Silence. Sit down somewhere quiet to write so you can think and really get out what you mean.
Romance. Since these are your Las Vegas wedding vows, a little romance can´t hurt! Use some flowery poetry or something equally romantic added into your vows to make them sweeter.
Writing your own vows for your Las Vegas wedding will make it that much more special and unique and a wedding ceremony that you´ll always remember and cherish. Don´t forget to practice ahead of time, even if you won´t be inviting anyone to the wedding, since it´s common to trip up at the altar. Be prepared and carry a copy of your written vows with you.

People started planning for this date a year ago………this was the biggest wedding day ever for Las Vegas…….. we knew it was going to be huge ever since this all started 09-09-99, and every year thus far…but with three 7’s and being in Vegas we knew it was a marriage that was meant to be………………
I am the owner of LV Wedding Connection, which is a Public Relations company for the wedding industry. I represent seven wedding chapels…each one having their own niche, as well as I represent the Las Vegas sector of the Nevada Wedding Association, which is a statewide wedding organization funded by Nevada Commission on Tourism. With all of that said I was right in the thick of this blissful day.
The week started out cool…and calm but quickly heated up by the holiday of July Fourth. The chapels had been preparing for this for a long time…organizing staff…ordering flowers…servicing limousines…charging batteries for camera equipment, setting up make shift areas due to our extreme heat…
I had my own experiences of doing news interviews, radio interviews and magazine interviews. There was a promotion going on the Las Vegas Monorail that entailed having FREE renewal of vows services for the masses at 3 different times on 07-07-07, for which I was the sponsor. This meant having the staging set up…floral pieces to deliver…collateral to hand out…etc.
I had a request to send a Minister to a restaurant to marry them…I had a request to send a Photographer to a Gold Mine for a wedding there…. A wedding cake had to be delivered…..Flowers needed to be delivered………..Colleagues of mine were calling for assistance….And
All of these events had to be fulfilled on Saturday…and the requests kept coming……………..
On Thursday I went to the Clark County Courthouse to see how that was going….how long was the wait……..say hello to all of the guests…welcoming them all to Nevada. I arrived at 10: 30 am and the line was half way around the block…..so I visited a bit and knew that tomorrow, Friday would be the crazy day… so I left and moved onto the next thing on the endless list….and said to myself I would come back tomorrow.
Friday I had received many calls about what was happening down at the Courthouse….So I arrived at 2:30 pm to see the line not outside, but quickly found out it was wrapped throughout the Courthouse building. Our couples were waiting in line in the air conditioning, and then as they got closer they were outside for a short period of time. I went into line and waited as if I was a Bride, and talked to many people along the way. I called my resources on the inside and volunteered my assistance in the Marriage License Bureau.

So off I went, I sat down and for the 5 hours assisted the excited couples with completing their paperwork. They were all so excited when I called “Next couple” “Come on down” ….. we commented….this was like the price is right…
I talked to people from all over the world… I noticed that there were many birthdays in January as I looked at their Driver’s licenses. I saw a lot of people from Ohio, Texas, Arizona, California and as far as Europe. Young people, older people, and just happy people in love with each other and in love with getting married on 07-07-07. The wait at this time was about 2 ½ hours and by the time I left it was down to about an hour wait. The Courthouse staff was incredible about keeping it going….and the energy this day brought was unexplainable. I went to bed at a decent time as I knew tomorrow would start very early…………
A local PR firm and myself were working together with a local restaurant on a contest to win a dinner and hotel stay when you would enter the drawing. Only couples married on this day were eligible to enter. They were meeting me at the chapel before 7 am with burgers and champagne….. so off I went at 6am….. the first wedding started at 7 am…..The day was consistent and couple after couple were married….From just the Bride and Groom to parties of 50…we saw casual attire to formal dresses and tuxes. There was yet another day of lines at the courthouse…and the chapel I was at had many walk ins to get married that had not pre-scheduled the nuptials.

Most all of the chapels were booked solid…however the wedding industry always finds a way to accommodate couples in love. They might have asked them to come at the end of the day, not to compromise all of the pre-scheduled weddings and stay on time…which was everyone’s greatest feat. Remember most wedding parties are picked up by the chapel limousines and traffic here especially on Saturdays is hard to predict. One accident on a major artery can really cause a problem.
I am happy to report that the majority of the chapels had a great day, stayed on time, and had record numbers of weddings. It was a prosperous day, however the chapels also take pride in having satisfied customers that leave happy about the entire wedding experience here in Nevada. It is not just about the money!!!!!!!!!!!! Weddings are a big business, however they are live changing days for many people.
One good wedding generates so much good will for our tourists to talk about when they return home. Everyone talks about getting married in Vegas. We se it in television shows, movies, even commercials. So the chapels have a tall order to fulfill….give them quality services, and a memorable time, and they will pass the word. The chapels have come a long way since the beginning of getting married in Vegas. They have upgraded their facilities with the most updated photo equipment, have larger seating areas, have web casting available, and some of them actually assist in tours, show tickets, rooms, and all of the wedding amenities you may need besides just the chapel usage. We are the wedding capital and it is a huge part of tourism here in Nevada. Remember when couples get married, they need a place to stay…eat…see shows..take tours..have Bacheloratte parties and I could go on and on. Therefore all entities are patronized. Actually there is not a piece of tourism here that isn’t touched by a wedding party. Make up- Hair salons.-shoe stores-lingerie-and the list could go on and on. We do have a big piece of the pie in the our great state!!!!

The Courthouse issued in the excess of 3700 marriage licenses in 3 days. Remember that does not tell us how many people tied the knot. That is due to renewal of Vows, and commitment services have no legal documentation needed and licenses that were purchased within the year to be used on this day are not included in the 3700 license issued on the days of July 5, 6 and 7. The industry is in a cohesive pattern, and most everyone is aware that there is enough business for everyone. Chapels have begun to work together, as it has begun to be clear to all of us who plays fair and ethical…and for the most part that is everyone.
The next chapter……………………………………Start preparing for 08-08-2008. Eight is an infinite number and important to many due to this definition. For people who really pay attention to this…an interesting factor is that when you total of all of the numbers above it totals 26….which also adds up to eight ………….therefore creating a double 8….hmmmmmmmm….
This day will be on a Friday so the wedding community will have another numerological date in history coming around for lovers!!!

Planning a Las Vegas wedding can be a lot of fun and if you´re in a hurry to get married, but don´t mind not having all the luxuries of a regular wedding in your home town. There are a few things to keep in mind, though, to make sure your Las Vegas wedding is a complete success.
- Get your wedding license early. Las Vegas weddings are famous for being last minute, you still need to pick up a license. This is a pretty simple procedure, but doing it ahead of time will ensure that you aren´t running for the chapel.
- Book ahead for major holidays. Dreaming of tying the knot over the New Year? You´ll need to book several months in advance to make that come true!
- Get the photo package. You´ll want the pictures later, trust me, so it´s worth the extra money to get good photos of your Las Vegas wedding.
- Have your honeymoon. Why not enjoy your honeymoon right here in Las Vegas? You can celebrate your wedding and your honeymoon in the same place for less money.
Las Vegas weddings can be a lot of fun and you should definitely consider having one if you are into quick weddings. For those who have always dreamed of a big cake, fancy dress and hundreds of guests . . . the drive in chapel won´t be your cup of tea, but that doesn´t mean you can´t have a great wedding in one of the hotels!

Some of the biggest holidays are also the hottest Las Vegas wedding dates. Valentine´s Day, Easter, New Year´s and Feb. 29th are all major marriage holidays in Las Vegas. If you would like to tie the knot in a Las Vegas wedding on an auspicious date, you will need to book ahead.
Las Vegas weddings are known for being last minute, spur of the moment and spontaneous, but the truth is that anyone wanting to get married on Valentine´s Day will have to plan ahead. You aren´t the only one dreaming of a funky wedding date!

It´s pretty easy to book your Las Vegas wedding ahead of time. For big dates like Jan. 1st, you will want to book several months in advance, much like you would do with a regular wedding. Choose your Las Vegas wedding chapel carefully, you´ll want to make sure that the wedding package you´ve been dreaming of is available. Then call them or book online to set the date for your special ceremony.
It´s not impossible to get married in a Las Vegas wedding on a special date, but you will certainly have more luck and be less stressed out if you plan ahead and book the wedding package ahead of time.

Real Las Vegas weddings just cry out for Elvis to serenade and most chapels have an Elvis impersonator to croon to you as you walk down the aisle, but that´s about it. If you really want to celebrate with the King of Rock and Roll, you need to check out which Las Vegas wedding chapels offer more.

Look for a Las Vegas wedding package that will let you have the King sing several songs and you´ll really get into it. A few even offer to let Elvis (well, an impersonator, that is) actually perform the ceremony to make your Las Vegas wedding a truly special event for you. It will be something that you´ll never forget, especially since many of these packages also include DVD recording and several photos to help you remember the occasion.
Don´t forget to bring along your special requests, most Elvis impersonators can do the whole song list, so you are often welcome to ask for specific songs. This is your day, so why not make a special request so you can have it just the way you want it? Remember that checking out different Las Vegas wedding packages is the best way to find one that suits you and your level of enthusiasm for Elvis.

Thinking about having a Las Vegas wedding? You might want to read through these common questions and their answers before you do, so you know what to expect.
Can I have a last minute Las Vegas wedding?
Yes, but only to a certain extent. You can´t just walk into a chapel and get married. Though the laws are pretty lax here, you will still need a marriage license. Some Las Vegas wedding packages include going to get your license.

Can I have a Las Vegas wedding at the Grand Canyon?
Yes, you can. It´s not difficult, in fact, you can simply purchase a Grand Canyon Las Vegas wedding package, which will give you everything you need, from transport and flowers to photos and a DVD of your special day.
Is it possible to have a big Las Vegas wedding, with guests?
Of course, but you will need to talk to the chapel you plan to use ahead of time to make sure they can accommodate your guests. If you will be taking a fancier package, like a helicopter tour, there is often a limit to the number of people you can have with you.
I´m divorced, can I still have a Las Vegas wedding?
Yes, you can, but you will want to bring your divorce papers along with you to get your license.
I´ve always dreamed of an Elvis wedding . . . is that possible?
Many chapels and other Las Vegas wedding tours offer the option of having an Elvis impersonator sing at your wedding, or even officiate. You can also choose from a variety of other impersonators like Johnny Cash.

Having a Las Vegas wedding can be a lot of fun and is often associated with being spontaneous. However, a little planning can go a long way. Even if you aren´t interested in throwing a great big wedding and inviting lots of friends, there are a few things to keep in mind, to make sure that you have the best day possible.

Weather. Las Vegas is hot in the summer, so if you want to get married then, you´ll want to dress appropriately. Light fabric works best for wedding dresses during this time of year and a simple, lightweight suit is more appropriate than a heavy tux for men. Otherwise plan a winter wedding when the weather is a little more temperate.
Timing. Book your Las Vegas wedding ahead of time to ensure that you get the date and time that you want. It´s no fun showing up at your chosen chapel only to find that they are full up for the day! Keep in mind that specific dates, such as New Year´s and Valentine´s Day will be busier than others, so either change the date or make a reservation. Also, if you want a longer wedding ceremony, you´ll need to arrange for it, since most chapels only offer 30 minute Las Vegas weddings.
Location. You don´t have to get married in a regular chapel here, there are plenty of other places to tie the knot. Your Las Vegas wedding can be anywhere from on a ski hill to atop a red rock spire in the Valley of Fire. Take your pick of locations and remember to book early.
Your Las Vegas wedding can really be the perfect day for you. Make sure you research your options and book ahead and don´t forget the marriage license!

Las Vegas weddings can be both fun and romantic at the same time, part of the reason why so many couples tie the knot here. But if you are already married, don´t worry, there´s no reason why you can´t renew your vows in Las Vegas. What could be a more romantic place to have your second Las Vegas wedding than atop a red rock spire in the Valley of Fire?

This amazing location is accessible only by helicopter and you can have Elvis in attendance if you like . . . it just wouldn´t be a Las Vegas wedding without the option of having the King serenade you! Even if this is your second time around, there´s no reason not to go all the way and enjoy your vow renewal. You will get to ride in a luxurious limo, soar over the incredible scenery of the Valley of Fire in a helicopter and then set down right in the middle of it.
If this isn´t the greatest spot to take wedding photos, I don´t know where is. Be sure to bring a camera for extra shots of yourselves and to snap the red valley around you. This Las Vegas wedding is the ideal way to celebrate your vow renewal, whether it´s been 5 years or 50.

Getting married can be expensive, even with a Las Vegas wedding. For couples who don´t have a lot of money, but with a bit of advance planning, you can save money in several different ways. Here are just a few ideas to make your Las Vegas wedding more affordable.

Get a Bite Card. This can really help you out. Not only will you save up to 10% on Las Vegas weddings, you will also get discounts on just about everything else while you are staying in Las Vegas.
Book ahead. Often, you will find that flights are cheaper to Las Vegas if you book at least two months ahead. The same goes for hotels, you may be able to get lower rates if you book ahead.
Have a Las Vegas wedding in the off season. Getting married in the off season is not for everyone, but you can save a lot of money by doing so. Hotels and restaurants will tend to be cheaper this time of year.
There are plenty of ways to save on your Las Vegas wedding, but the most important thing is that you enjoy it and have a great time tying the knot in Las Vegas!

When you think of Las Vegas weddings, what comes to mind? Probably Elvis serenading the happy couple, lightening fast wedding ceremonies and cheesy photos, right? It doesn´t have to be like that, though. Las Vegas weddings can be something that is truly special.
With all the fantastic scenery and canyons around Las Vegas, weddings don´t ever have to be clichéd. You can make your Las Vegas wedding as special as you want it to be and even have wedding guests and a reception if you like! It just takes a bit of planning.

If you want to have more than a handful of guests, you´ll want to be sure that the wedding chapel you choose can accomodate everyone. Talk to the chapel ahead of time and make sure they have room. You can also request special decorations and even write your own vows, if you want to make the ceremony especially unique.
Another way to make your Las Vegas wedding special is to choose a unique location. There are so many places around the city that are truly amazing, why not get married atop a red rock spire in the Valley of Fire? Or out in the desert? Make it a wedding to remember!

What could be more romantic than getting married on Valentine´s Day? Las Vegas weddings are designed to be last minute, so the fact that there is less than a month before February 14th doesn´t mean you can´t have the most romantic Las Vegas wedding ever.

Start planning now and enjoy your big day. Get married in a cute little Las Vegas wedding chapel and then take your wedding party out for a delightful dinner at one of Las Vegas´ great restaurants. There´s no reason to have a traditional reception when places like Planet Hollywood and La Salsa Cantina are available.
Make this Valentine´s Day the best one ever by celebrating your Las Vegas wedding and enjoying a terrific honeymoon in Sin City. There´s plenty to see and do and the two of you will never be bored.

Las Vegas weddings are quite popular, mainly due to how easy it is to get married in Nevada. The paperwork required is minimal and you have plenty of choices in wedding ceremonies. All you need to do is pick up a marriage license and pick a chapel.

While you can have a last minute Las Vegas wedding, it won´t be the best possible one. Planning ahead a bit will let you have the perfect Las Vegas wedding, whatever your idea of that is. If you want to have Elvis officiating or seranading you as you say your vows, you can definitely do that, but there are plenty of other options in Las Vegas weddings.
For example, why not head to the Valley of Fire and tie the knot atop a spire of red rock, accessible only by helicopter? That´s a real one of a kind wedding ceremony! Las Vegas weddings are definitely not boring, and with a little advance planning, you can make sure everything goes smoothly. Here are a few tips:
- Pick up your marriage license at least 24 hours ahead of time to avoid delays.
- Book your wedding early or you may be disappointed at the last minute.
- Choose a Las Vegas wedding ceremony that suits you . . . be that a romantic ski hill wedding or one with Elvis.
- Make sure you get photos! Bring your own camera, though most Las Vegas wedding packages also include photos.
Above all, enjoy your Las Vegas wedding day! This is your day and you want it to be memorable, so make sure you plan everything out ahead of time so you won´t be disappointed at the last minute.

Whether you tie the knot in Las Vegas or are just spending your honeymoon here, you can take steps to make this the best honeymoon ever. This is a time for the two of you to enjoy being with each other, so splurge on a fancy hotel room, but don´t stay locked up the whole time! Here are a few tips to make sure your Las Vegas honeymoon is a success.

1. Don´t spend all your time together. Yeah, you´re in love, you´re newlyweds, but trust me, time alone is good, too. Absence makes the heart grow fonder and all. Ladies might like to check out the Forum Shoppes.
2. Watch the gambling. You don´t want to start your married life with fights over money, so set some reasonable limits and don´t play past them.
3. Stay away from the cheap buffets. If you want to save money, don´t go for the $1.99 lobster. Get a BiteCard and save money on a whole lot of great restaurants.
4. See a show together, preferably a funny one. There´s nothing like laughing together to bond.
And, of course, the most important tip of all, enjoy yourselves on your honeymoon in Las Vegas!

Las Vegas weddings are pretty popular these days, thanks to the not-so-picky laws of Nevada. However, you will still need to get a marriage license, so here´s how to do that.

A new law requires anyone interested in a Las Vegas wedding to present identification as of January 1, 2008 in order to receive your marriage license. The ID can be a driver´s license, passport, military ID card, a state-issued ID card, and Temporary Resident cards, or Certificate of Citizenship, Naturalization or Permanent Resident. You can also use a birth certificate if you have a secondary piece of identification that shows your name.
All couples must be one male and one female, there are no homosexual marriage licenses issued at this time. In addition, both parties have to be at least 18 years old and be able to prove their age, or they may not receive a marriage license. Minors need to have parental consent in order to be married.
Another important point, you will need your Social Security number in order to have a Las Vegas Wedding. Non-US residents obviously don´t need this. Once your marriage license is issued, you are free to have a Las Vegas wedding, within minutes if you want. There is no waiting period and no blood tests required.
In order to enjoy a Las Vegas wedding, a marriage license is required, so make sure you pick one up before heading to the chapel! The fee is $55 and you can get your license at the address below. Some Las Vegas wedding packages include a stop to pick up your marriage license.

How many people can say they get married at the Grand Canyon? Well, with this Las Vegas Wedding package, there have been a few, but what an imaginative way to tie the knot. To keep everything nice and quick, like a Las Vegas wedding should be, you´ll head to the Grand Canyon by helicopter for your wedding ceremony.

Enjoy a beautiful helicopter flight over the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and the Grand Canyon before setting down on a bluff to say your vows. Look out over the Colorado River and admire its work that has taken literally thousands of years.
Once your Las Vegas wedding ceremony is over, you will enjoy a champagne toast and some wedding cake before heading back to Las Vegas. And, of course, there will be some truly amazing photos to take of you two, the happy couple, posed at the edge of the Grand Canyon.
