For a real taste of history on a Las Vegas tour, you should really take a horseback ride out into the desert. It´s a unique way to see the area around Las Vegas and you´ll actually retrace the steps of the old gold miners and even the ever so famous Jesse James.

When the first settlers arrived here, most of them were on horseback or in covered wagons. You can actually ride where they did and feel their ghosts watching you from the entrances of the abandoned gold mines that you ride past.
Apart from being an amazing historical adventure, this Las Vegas tour is also a good way to check out the local scenery. If you are interested in the more natural part of Las Vegas, this is the place to do it. There are amazing natural sights on the tour, rock formations that take your breath away, amazing vegetation and dozens of tiny desert critters.
There are some great photo ops on this Las Vegas tour. No one back home will believe that you were riding through the desert like Jesse James . . . they´ll expect you to be in the casinos! But there is far more to Las Vegas than just casinos and you can really enjoy a horseback ride to the wilder side of the desert.

Barbra and Frank . . . only in Las Vegas can you see these two hothead singers hit the stage together. It´s a pretty fascinating look at what could have been if these two had ever actually gotten together in real life. Though they did sing a duet together, they never recorded at the same time, a fact that Barbra points out in this faux concert!

You´ll really sense the tension and chemistry between Barbra and Frank as they sing hit songs like “I’ve Got The World On A String!”, “I’ve Got A Crush On You”, and “My Way”. While these singers are obviously just impersonators, it´s still a fascinating Las Vegas show to see and you´ll catch a glimpse of what could have been.
This is a Las Vegas show that you simply cannot miss if you enjoy music by either singer. You´ll have a blast. It´s a great way to impress a date or a new wife, too! But it´s a pretty popular show, so you don´t want to be disappointed by missing it when you´re in town. Call or book ahead to make sure that you get your tickets reserved in time!

There is so much to see in Las Vegas. Attractions are everywhere, but most of the really good ones charge a fee to check them out. You can still get an eyeful of Las Vegas attractions though, if you are willing to walk a bit.

Outside of several hotels, there are free shows, like the beautiful Bellagio fountains, or Treasure Island´s explosive show. But you´ll find lots of fun inside, too. Strolling the streets of Grand Canal Shoppes is just like heading to Venice and if you don´t buy anything in the quaint shops, it´s free.
Circus Circus also offers free circus performances that you can enjoy with your family. But not all Las Vegas attractions are going to be free and some of the best ones are shows that cost a pretty penny to get in.
Now that´s not a problem. All you need to do is book your Las Vegas Bite Card before you arrive. You can choose the number of days that you´ll be in town and then you can pick up the card when you get in. The Las Vegas attractions included will give you a huge discount for presenting the Bite card and presto! You´ve got affordable Las Vegas!

While in Las Vegas, if you feel that you need to spend some time relaxing, the perfect place to do so is at the Eldorado Canyon. This beautiful canyon was one of the first places in Nevada that gold was found. It sparked the gold rush that led to settlers moving to the area and founding the towns found around Las Vegas, as well as Las Vegas itself.

Eldorado Canyon is a lovely place to visit and relax. While there, you can take a tour of the mine where miners toiled away, digging out gold by hand and following the veins deeper and deeper into the earth. It´s amazing that Las Vegas sprung from these humble beginnings, but it makes for an amazing tour.
The mines in the area aren´t the only attraction. You´ll also enjoy the incredible views from Lake Mojave and taking pictures of the rock formations in Eldorado Canyon. The best way to get there is to take a Las Vegas tour in a SUV. This allows you to get into some of the less accessible areas of the canyon that contain interesting sights.
Eldorado Canyon is a beautiful area to go and relax while you are in Las Vegas. It´s nice to get out into nature after the bright lights and noise of city. Take a day and hang out in the canyon, explore the gold mine and take some time to just chill out.

A great place to head in Las Vegas if you enjoy adventure and thrill rides is Circus Circus. There you´ll find a 5 acre amusement park designed to tantilize that adrenaline addiction! There are plenty of kid-safe rides, too, so the whole family can go. Depending on what you like to do, there are plenty of different rides available for Las Vegas tourists.
The Canyon Blaster is one of the most popular roller coasters available in Las Vegas and will be sure to make you scream as you zip around the double loop and lose your head on the double corkscrew. It´s a lot of fun, and anyone who enjoys roller coasters needs to have a go on this one.
Chaos is another Las Vegas ride designed to whirl you into a mixture of confusion and excitement, and if you like to get wet, check out the Rim Runner, a wild water adventure that starts off deceptively calm and then turns into a waterfall that plummets you 60 feet! Need a little something more? Then try the Sling Shot, which will have you quaking in your boots as you shoot up the tower and fall back down. A few bounces on this ride, and you´ll be staying away from the chili dogs!
If you aren´t up for those kinds of thrills, there is always laser tag or Sponge Bob´s 4D adventure to enjoy. Las Vegas has plenty to offer in the way of thrill rides, but even if you are just watching your kids scream their way around the loops . . . it´s a blast!

If you´ve never seen it before, this is definitely the one world wonder you need to check out while in Las Vegas. The best part is that now you can check out the Grand Canyon in a way that was never possible before . . . via the Skywalk.

The Skywalk is an amazing piece of architecture that allows you to actually walk out over the Grand Canyon. The end is suspended in midair, between the two walls of the canyon, giving you an exceptionally unique view of the Colorado River far below. It is rather like half a bridge jutting out over the canyon . . . definitely not a good idea for those afraid of heights, but if you can walk over thin air, then you´ll just love this opportunity!
As far as photo ops go in Las Vegas, this is definitely one of the best places to be. You can´t get better photos from the Rim, that´s for sure! The Las Vegas skywalk is something to check out if you have the time to make it to the Grand Canyon, though you should definitely make a point of getting there, even if you´ve been before, since the Skywalk really adds something to the experience.

Las Vegas is definitely a good place to go if you are interested in geological features. The myriad of canyons in the area offer beautiful vistas of rock formations and mineral deposits. One of the more interesting features is found in Red Rock Canyon, not far from Las Vegas.

Here, in this Las Vegas canyon, you can find the Keystone Thrust Fault. Geologists believe that this is where two crustal plates collided over 50 million years ago, causing one plate to be “thrust” upwards and over the other one. This created a beautiful feature out in the Nevada Desert in Red Rock Canyon, where you can see the older limestone jutting out of the ground and the younger sandstone right beside it. The grey and red tones of the rocks makes for a beautiful photo op that you won´t want to miss.
Besides the thrust fault, there are plenty of other beautiful sites to see in this Las Vegas canyon. Make sure you get a chance to visit this canyon, whether you drive there or take a Las Vegas tour . . . it´s definitely worth it to check the rock formations out!

When you are planning a trip to Las Vegas, it is often a good idea to check into your options. You want to be able to have a smooth trip, without hitches . . . or at least without too many. The best way to do that is to book everything you can ahead of time, but leave yourself plenty of time to just walk around and enjoy the sights, especially if you have never been to Las Vegas before.
First of all, you´ll definitely want to book a hotel. Not sure which hotel is best? Look online for reviews and to preview the rooms. Most Las Vegas hotels allow you to see what the rooms are like ahead of time via video or photos. That way you can choose the one that suits both your budget and your tastes.
Find out when your flight is going to be arriving so you can arrange transportation to the hotel. This will save you a lot of hassle trying to find a cab, particularly if you are arriving at an odd hour. If possible, book a Las Vegas shuttle that will not only take you to your hotel, but also pick you up and bring you back to the airport when your trip is over.
Take a look at the activities available in Las Vegas before you arrive and decide what is definitely on your must do list, then book it now while you can. This ensures that you won´t end up arriving only to find that you can´t get into your dreamed of tour because it´s full.
Las Vegas is a great place to escape for a while, but you´ll definitely enjoy it if things are booked and you can rest in confidence that you´ll get to your hotel without hassle and that all your tours are already set up and paid for, all you need to do is show up!
