Have you ever been to the desert? Sure, you’ve seen what it’s like in movies and on TV, but do you want to actually experience it for yourself? If so, don’t miss the opportunity to take a day trip to Death Valley during your Las Vegas vacation.

The trip includes six stops in the Mojave Desert. First, you will be provided with a complimentary continental breakfast in Beatty, Nevada. Your next stop is Scotty’s Castle. After a 60-minute tour of the castle that takes you back in time, you will have free time to roam the castle grounds and enjoy a complimentary picnic lunch served on the castle grounds. The third stop is the Ubehebe Crater, which is all that remains from a volcanic eruption that was so violent that even the volcano itself was destroyed. The next stop is the Furnace Creek Ranch museum where you will learn about the history of Death Valley. Next, it’s on to Badwater, the lowest spot in the Western Hemisphere at 282 feet below sea level. At Badwater you will find a permanent spring-fed pool where you can actually walk on the salt flats. The last stop on the tour is at Rhyolite Ghost Town.

The Death Valley tour departs from most Las Vegas hotels and hotel pickup and drop-off is included. Departure time is between approximately 5:45am and 6:45am depending on the hotel location. Tour duration is approximately 11 hours.

When visiting Las Vegas, sometimes it’s nice to get off of the Strip and do something different. While Las Vegas certainly isn’t known for baseball, that doesn’t mean that you can’t spend a day enjoying America’s favorite pastime. Las Vegas’ minor league team, the 51’s, play at Cashman Field which is located just minutes from Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas and is only a few miles north of the Strip. The 51’s are a Triple-A affiliate of Major League Baseball’s Toronto Blue Jays. Games are held during the months of April-September.

In order to enhance your experience, VIP dugout seats are available for purchase. These seats are located right behind the action at the Las Vegas 51’s baseball game. Don’t miss the chance to see future MLB stars up close!

The Las Vegas 51’s have value nights on Monday and Thursday. On Mondays you can purchase ball game snack favorites like hot dogs, peanuts, pretzels, popcorn and cracker jacks for only a dollar. Thursday nights are “Budweiser for a buck” night, a price that can’t be beat! In addition, designated Tuesday nights throughout the season are “T-Shirt Nights” and the first 1,000 fans through the gate receive a current 51’s player T-shirt.

Ticket upgrade options, for an additional fee, include limousine transportation from Las Vegas Strip hotels and the chance to throw out the first pitch at the game and have your name featured on the scoreboard. If you’re planning a trip to Las Vegas with family or with friends, why not head out to the ballgame?

Las Vegas is known for many things. One of which is the number of high quality shows that it has to offer. You can’t go to Las Vegas without taking in at least one amazing show, but it’s recommended to enjoy more than one! If you’re still trying to decide on a show, let us recommend “Le Reve” at the Wynn Las Vegas. This spectacular show features an aquatic dream world and is performed in a domed theater-in-the-round. Every seat offers a great view of the amazing aquatic acrobatic feats that bring the show to life.

“Le Reve” is a dream-like story of love and loss that is showcased by fantastical, humorous, and playful characters. The performers dance, cavort, swim, dive, and interact with the audience as the stage rises and falls throughout the show. Perhaps the most memorable acts of the performance are the thrilling high dives. Book a seat in the “splash zone” to get right up close to all of the action!

Various packages are available. If you want the best seats in the house, you may want to check out the VIP Indulgence Package, which includes seating in the champagne circle, exclusive champagne bottle service, chocolate covered strawberries, video monitors that provide a private peek behind the scenes, and a “Privilege Access Pass” for food and beverage outlets at Wynn Las Vegas.
