Saving money anytime is great, but when you´re in Las Vegas, those quarters can really add up if you are into the casinos! Most Las Vegas restaurants that are near the casinos offer super cheap buffets to keep people full, happy, and close to the slots. It´s a technique that has proved very useful for these big dollar casinos, but you can still eat cheap and far better than those $1.99 steak dinners.

The key to saving money at Las Vegas restaurants is to plan ahead and buy a MealTicket. This can give you a huge advantage over anyone else who is trying to eat decently on a budget. With the Las Vegas MealTicket, you can chow down at local Las Vegas restaurants like Planet Hollywood, the Sahara Buffet, NASCAR, and a variety of other tasty places without paying anything more.
The MealTicket is your ticket to Las Vegas restaurants that serve great food. All you have to do is flash your card and you´ll be able to eat for free. Of course, if you plan to stock up on alcoholic beverages, those are extra, but you´ll be able to eat the main meal for free and enjoy huge savings.
Las Vegas restaurants tend to be on the expensive side if you want real food, not the tasteless junk at the casino-side buffets. If you are interested in eating well, but don´t want to waste money, it´s definitely a good idea to pick up a MealTicket.

Not everything in Las Vegas is expensive. In fact, you´ll find that there is a lot of great entertainment that you don´t have to pay for in this city. Since the casinos want people to gamble, they are all trying desperately to outdo one another in providing amazing entertainment to draw people in. This can work to your advantage if you are careful to avoid the actual casinos!
Freemont Street is definitely one of the most popular places to go for free. This street is covered with an arched dome full of lights that play video and are programmed to show off some amazing light shows after dark. There are plenty of shops and restaurants along this foot-traffic only street and it´s a pleasant place for a stroll in the evening, even without the light shows.
Outside several of the hotels, you´ll also find some fun things to watch. The Bellagio has a very cool fountain show that is lit at night, but quite enjoyable by day, as well. Inside Circus Circus there are free circus acts to watch and lots of carnival style fun.
Take a stroll through the Forum Shops at Ceaser´s or enjoy a walk along an authentic Venetian canal at the Venetian. While these are actually shopping centers, they serve as entertainment all on their own, thanks to incredibly intricate and beautiful designs that make these places look just like the real thing.
Just taking a walk along the Las Vegas Strip, you´ll find plenty of sights to see that cost you absolutely nothing. It´s a great way to get some exercise and to avoid spending any money.

Looking for a super fast and convenient Las Vegas wedding? For those who just can´t wait, a drive-thru wedding window is the perfect way to go. At the World Famous Drive-In Chapel, weddings are super convenient and done in a jiffy.

That doesn´t mean you can´t have tradition involved though, Las Vegas wedding tradition, that is! Elvis can strum a little ditty while you say your vows and serenade you with a few songs afterwards as you enjoy your first moments as husband and wife in your limo. If you go for the package (really the best deal) everything will be taken care of for you. You´ll just need to hop into the limo and take off.
A marriage license is required for any Las Vegas wedding, but this is pretty easy to get. Pop over to pick one up in your smoking limo and then head to the chapel where you´ll say your vows, accompanied by Elvis. Then it´s a quick champagne toast, a copy of your wedding photos and DVD and you´re married!
Quick, easy and to the point. This is a Las Vegas wedding for those who are in a rush to tie the knot!

Unfortunately, if you bring kids with you on your trip to Las Vegas, there are quite a few shows that you simply can´t see with them. Many Las Vegas shows are quite risque, but there are still some that are quite appropriate for any age. This includes ICE, which is a stunning show to take kids of any age to.
ICE is a Las Vegas show imported from Russia and it is a cool place to head after being out in the hot sun all day. Kids in particular will appreciate the ice rink chill! It is the perfect show to take some time out of the heat and just relax while watching these amazing Russian ice skaters put on a truly impressive show.
As far as kid friendly Las Vegas shows go, ICE is definitely one of the best. You´ll be amazed at how proficient the skaters are and the music is upbeat. It really is a fast paced show that is sophisticated enough for adults and yet, still quite enjoyable for little people.
And the best reason to take your kids to see this Las Vegas show? They get in for Free with a paying adult!

The Grand Canyon is definitely a main destination for Las Vegas tours, but many people forget that there are other incredible canyons in the area, as well. There´s no reason to miss out on these incredible tours as well, if you have the time.
While the Grand Canyon will probably always be the main attraction for those looking at Las Vegas tours, there are so many other places to see that it would be a shame not to even look into them. Eldorado Canyon is one of these majestic sights that awaits tourists on Las Vegas tours and you can travel there in style in a pink Jeep or SUV.
Eldorado Canyon has a lot to offer and your Las Vegas tour will give you the chance to see a lot of it. From amazingly rare geological wonders to the interesting teddy bear cholla that grows here, there are a lot of photo ops on this Las Vegas tour.
You´ll also have the chance to actually go right down into an old mine that was once the source of much strife in the area. The Techatticup Mine once offered up gold, silver, and a variety of other resources, making it a very valuable piece of real estate. These days, the mine is inactive, but you can still have the change to check it out.
Las Vegas tours are available to check out all sorts of sights that you might never have considered. Take a look at your options before deciding that the Grand Canyon is your only option.

If you are interested in motocross . . . Las Vegas is the perfect place for a fun vacation. There are even Las Vegas tours that will take you out on dirt bikes, so you don´t have to worry about how to transport your bike there.
The trails around Las Vegas are pretty exciting. There are plenty of valleys to explore where you´ll find old ghost towns and abandoned mines. At one point, the area was crawling with miners and prospectors and there is still quite a bit of evidence of this around. With a dirt bike, you´ll be able to see all this nice and close, unlike a helicopter or SUV tour.
There´s definitely something to be said for being able to take a motocross trip out of Las Vegas. The area is absolutely stunning, with rock formations and plants that you won´t be able to see elsewhere. The only prerequisite is experience with a dirt bike. So this isn´t a tour for amateurs.
For anyone who enjoys the great outdoors and being on a motorbike, then this is a great way to enjoy your Las Vegas vacation.

It´s pretty hard to resist Las Vegas shopping centers. They have factory outlet stores and amazing boutiques in the most unique environments. It´s a completely different experience than you´d have anywhere else! After all, in what other shopping mall could you enjoy buying unique items, then dine at a restaurant run by Wolfgang Puck and finally take a gondola ride down a canal?

To help you with NOT spending all your hard earned (or easily won) cash, here are five Las Vegas shopping tips:
- Make a budget. It´s very helpful to decide how much money you´ll allow yourself to spend ahead of time.
- Cash only. Using credit cards makes it very easy to overspend, so take the cash that you intend to spend and you´ll easily see when it´s running out.
- Check online. Look for coupon codes or printable coupons before you leave for any Las Vegas shopping center.
- Get a pass. Often a Las Vegas shopping pass will not only give you free shuttle rides, you´ll also get discounts on your purchases and free stuff.
- Look twice, buy once. Impulse buying is usually responsible for overspending, so make sure you look at everything and then go back to buy the items that you really need.
Las Vegas shopping is exhilarating and fun, but you should be careful not to spend all your money in one place!

Mt. Charleston is one of the best outdoor Las Vegas tours you can take. It´s truly a beautiful place to visit, heavily forested and green. This is one tour where you´ll find green instead of red or brown, which is commonly found in the other valleys and canyons of the area.

This is a great Las Vegas tour for anyone interested in getting out and about in the Las Vegas area. You´ll head up to the mountain in an SUV, which provides a comfortable ride over the rough terrain that will take you to breathtaking views. This trip is definitely one to take your camera on.
From the peak of Mt. Charleston, you´ll get a great view of Nevada and the air up here is crisper and fresher, as well. In the heat of the summer, the coolness of the mountain air is often a welcome relief to tourists from cooler climates. Apart from the scenery, this is a great place to enjoy having a picnic with friends or family. It´s also a very romantic place for newlyweds to hang out or even for proposing!
Las Vegas tours run the gamut from adventurous to romantic to funny. Mt. Charleston is a unique adventure where you can reach a new area in the desert and enjoy a view to die for.

Anyone who loves Elvis will enjoy a Las Vegas wedding that is attended by the King of Rock and Roll. There´s really nothing like having a guy who looks just like Elvis singing your favorite songs while you tie the knot. Most Las Vegas wedding packages offer the option of having Elvis at your wedding. You can decide whether you want just a couple of songs or if you actually want Elvis to marry you (yes, there are impersonators who are licensed to do this!).

The choice is yours, but many people like Las Vegas for the convenience of a quick marriage, as well as the possibility of having a wonderfully tacky Elvis attended wedding. There´s nothing as fun as having some of your favorite old songs being crooned as you slip the ring onto your loved one´s finger.
Las Vegas weddings aren´t for everyone, but if you are addicted to the King, then you´ll definitely want to consider it. You don´t even have to get married in a traditional chapel. There are many options for tying the knot in Las Vegas, which you should definitely explore before deciding precisely how you want to spend your wedding ceremony. But one thing is for sure . . . if you want Elvis there, you will definitely want to be married in a Las Vegas wedding.

Las Vegas has some hot weather to offer. It rarely rains in this city and the weather is pretty nice all year round with clear skies and lots of sunshine. That makes Las Vegas the ideal place to head up into the air for a skydiving adventure.

Las Vegas is the ideal place to go skydiving, particularly if it´s your first time up. There are special tandem skydive packages available. This allows you to jump with a professional who knows exactly what he or she is doing and you´ll be in good hands. Eliminating the insecurity is the best way to get over your fear of jumping out of a plane and having someone with several years of experience strapped to you is the ideal way to do just that.
You´ll get a great view of the entire city and the brown desert. It´s an amazing sight from high up and while you could enjoy this view from a plane or helicopter, there´s something about actually falling right into that scenery that makes it a really special experience.
If you´re looking for something a little different to do in Las Vegas, then skydiving could definitely spice things up. It´s certainly worth a try!

It´s not necessary to pay a huge sum of money just to eat in Las Vegas restaurants. While there are plenty of cheap places to eat, you´ll find that you are also able to actually stick to a budget while eating in the more expensive, high class restaurants as well. It all depends on your strategy.
Eat early. Most dinners are more expensive than lunches, so you´ll find that if you eat before the lunch hour ends (usually around 4 pm), you will pay far less for great food. Fill up early and have a snack later on to keep you going.
Share. Most entrees are huge these days. Rather than ask for a doggie bag, why not just split a plate and a basket of bread with a partner? This way you pay half the price and still fill up.
Go small. Order an appetizer if you aren´t that hungry. This can be a great way to lower the cost in Las Vegas restaurants. Appetizers are quite a bit cheaper than the main event, but are often quite filling on their own. Not to mention if you are on a diet, an appetizer offers smaller portions.
Invest in a MealTicket. This will let you hit some of the top Las Vegas restaurants and eat well without spending a small fortune. Plus, it´s ideal for budgets since you buy ahead of time and just flash the card to get your meals.
Avoid extras. If you have a hankering for dessert, have it afterwards, somewhere else. Often a coffee shop will offer tasty treats for far less than a fancy restaurant. Also, avoiding drinks will let you save quite a bit of cash.
You don´t have to be rich to enjoy some great food in top Las Vegas restaurants. Just a little common sense and some money saving tactics go a long way.

The bright lights of Las Vegas are something that really make this city stand out. Whenever a movie is set in Las Vegas, you can pretty much guarantee several shots of the neon signs of casinos and hotels. The neon lights of Las Vegas have long been a major attraction and while by day the city looks pretty, by night, it truly comes alive!

Since many famous casinos and hotels are being torn down these days to make way for more modern marvels, you might wonder what has happened to the older signs. Don´t worry, these didn´t go the way of the buildings . . . they´ve been salvaged. Some were sold off to the highest bidder, but the majority of Las Vegas´ retired neon signs are actually in a “graveyard” where tourists can walk through a forest full of these hallmark symbols of an era gone by.
These neon signs are no longer lit, but that doesn´t mean they aren´t impressive. You´ll enjoy checking out some of the most famous neon signs in Las Vegas, like the ones from the Sahara and the Aladdin.
The best way to enjoy Las Vegas lights is to see the current signs in action. While walking down the Strip might be a fun way to check out those signs while getting some exercise, there´s nothing like flying overhead and looking down on the maze of lights that makes up the city.

Las Vegas tours include dune buggy tours that will take you to some of the most amazing sand dunes available in the US. If you enjoy a wild ride and are looking to add a bit of excitement to your Las Vegas vacation, you will definitely have to book one of these fun dune buggy tours!

Dune buggies really are quite safe, as long as you drive them correctly. While you can certainly have fun with them and climb sand dunes, there isn´t any excuse for being reckless or foolish. That´s when people get into trouble with their dune buggies. However, the Las Vegas dune buggy tours are certainly safer than many.
For one thing, dune buggies are built to be light and easy to handle, but still offer protection ot the occupant. If you take a look at the photos, you´ll see that they have roll bars to prevent head injuries should your buggy end up rolling over.
Apart from the design of the dune buggies, Las Vegas tours offers a short course before you leave to ensure that you are aware of how to manage a dune buggy and handle it safely. Las Vegas attractions tend to require quite a bit of movement whether you like it or not. Just hiking up and down the Strip is a lot of exercise for many and just inside the massive casinos, you will find yourself being pretty active. However, that´s nothing compared to our next Las Vegas attraction . . . Lake Mead.

At Lake Mead, you won´t just be admiring the view, though there is plenty of that to go around. The Hoover Dam is right there for you to check out, but the cool waters of the lake are the focal point of this Las Vegas attraction! While swimming is just fine, you can also rent a kayak and go exploring.
This lake was created when the Hoover Dam was built, so it´s a man-made lake that offers a lot of area to cover. Depending on the amount of water being let through the dam, the lake´s water level fluctuates quite a bit and there are times when you can even see one of the towns that was flooded out in this valley. There were several small towns that were abandoned for the purposes of creating the dam, but most are hidden in the depths of the lake.
If you´re looking for an active Las Vegas attraction, Lake Mead is it. Take a half day kayaking trip and really get a workout.

Most people prefer to fly into Las Vegas. While you can certainly drive and many people do, it´s quite a ways from anywhere else and flying lets you just relax. For a slightly cheaper option, there is always the bus, but flying is definitely more pleasant. And with a shuttle service from the airport to your hotel, you really can´t go wrong.
It´s a good idea, as with all things to do with your vacation, to book ahead. Most people know to do this with flights, but there are a number of very good reasons to do this. Apart from the time savings and knowing just what is going to happen, you also end up saving money by booking ahead. Many venues and travel operations offer a discount for setting up travel plans ahead of time and if you are planning to head for Las Vegas, it´s something you will definitely want to do, as this is a popular destination spot.
Remember to book your shuttle to the hotel, as well. This is a perk in Las Vegas. The Strip may look short on the silver screen, but the reality is that it´s quite long and you don´t want to be paying a cab to sit at all the red lights or haul those bags yourself. The best thing is to get the shuttle, which is quite affordable and it will take you right to your hotel doorstep. And, when you´re ready to head back home, the same airport shuttle will pick you up and take you to the airport. All you need to do is call ahead a day or two.

A few different Las Vegas tours now offer visitors the opportunity to walk right out into the middle of the Grand Canyon by taking a stroll on the relatively new Skywalk. This is an incredible structure that literally lets you walk out over thin air and stand in the middle of of the Grand Canyon . . . thousands of feet above the Colorado River.

This is a great way to get some truly amazing touristic shots of the Grand Canyon. There´s no guardrail or wall to get in your shot, just pure, unadulterated scenery. If you´re going to visit the Grand Canyon anyway, why not check out Las Vegas tours that offer this optional Skywalk? It´s a wonderful way to get a unique view of the Grand Canyon and you´ll enjoy the photos and video that you can take from the point of the Skywalk, nearly 360º without showing where you´re standing!
Since the Skywalk is pretty new, not that many tourists have seen it yet or walked out on the steel truss half-bridge. You can so just that on the next Las Vegas tour that you take to the Grand Canyon. This allows you to see just what a bird sees from the center of the rift . . . hovering between the two canyon walls and staring down into the clear water of the Colorado River.
HINT: Most Las Vegas tours to the West Rim offer the Skywalk as an extra, but it will be far cheaper if you find a tour that includes it.

Of all the Las Vegas attractions available to check out, the Techatticup Mine is perhaps one of the most interesting. The Salvage vein, a rich vein of gold that ran up the hills above the Colorado River, was discovered in Eldorado Canyon in 1961. There, the Techatticup Mine was built.
This area is a major Las Vegas attraction because of the interesting rock formations and scenery that surrounds the canyon. This is where early gold rush prospectors came to sift their fortune from the river. However, when they discovered that there was so much gold to be had in the hills, the Techatticup Mine was born.
Assorted disputes appeared over this famous Las Vegas attraction. People fought over who owned the mine, whether or not the working conditions were fair and who should be getting a proportion of the gold being mined. These were bloody times and the mine quickly had a lot of blood hanging around it as killings became a daily occurrence.
This mine wasn´t just a gold mine, though. It went on to become one of the most successful mines in the region, turning out not only gold, but silver, copper and lead, too! It´s still there for tourists to check out, a Las Vegas attraction full of history and phantoms.

Las Vegas is a funny place. Everything is extreme, from the themed hotels to the celebrity impersonators everywhere. This is a city that is over the top to the nth degree and you´ll enjoy every second of it. To really get your laugh on, though, you might want to try the Penn and Teller show.

This hilarious act by two great comedians is definitely worth taking an evening to check out. These guys take nothing seriously, not even death. If you head out to their grave (no, they aren´t yet dead), you´ll find that their tombstone has a hilarious joke on it. A hand with a card and an inscription that says, “Is this your card?”
You can enjoy this show which runs Wednesday to Sunday by booking it early. These two are pretty popular in Las Vegas comedy, so you don´t want to risk losing out on a place to sit! Laughing is a great way to make life seem better, so you don´t want to miss this show.
From the boisterous Penn making jokes and tossing out magic tricks to the silent Teller performing more elaborate tricks, you´ll be amazed at this Las Vegas comedy pair.

Scary isn´t really the word you associate with a Las Vegas tour, but when it comes to hauntings and following ghosts around the city you will find that a Las Vegas tour really can be creepy. ATVs are an excellent method of seeing the area around Las Vegas. They allow you to get up close and personal with the desert and to see things that a regular Las Vegas tour will never let you see, like the small desert animals and plants that grow here.
The Hidden Valley Primm tour uses ATVs to give you a great view of the desert and to check out some of the interest points around Las Vegas. You´ll get the chance to see lava bed, a Joshua tree forest and a dry lake bed. It´s all quite interesting and you´ll want to get photos of everything.
Lunch at the border between California and Nevada and enjoy an afternoon in Primm. This quaint little town has some record breaking thrill rides that you will definitely want to check out and there is also a museum where you can learn more about Bonnie and Clyde. You´ll be able to check out their death car, too.
Las Vegas has many great tours, but this one is definitely one of the best. Book early so you won´t miss it!

The shady past of Sin City is a big Las Vegas attraction. People have seen it played out in dozens of movies, read about it and enjoyed the stories as they have been told through the generations. But you still don´t know the half of it! The city is one that has not only a shady past, but a violent and mob related one, as well.

The Mafia was crucial in making Las Vegas what it is today. Their methods may have been a little unorthodox, but they got the job done. Care to speculate on how many bodies have been dumped in the foundations of the older casinos along the Strip? Well, no one knows for sure, but at least one person has ended up in the concrete drink!
Most Las Vegas attractions are pretty tame. The history of Las Vegas, though, is something else. Filled with shootouts and gunfights, murders and traitors, it´s a story that you will find fascinating and one that is absolutely true. These men really did live and they changed the course of history, if not for everyone, then at least for this Nevada city.
The mob is still hinted at in these parts and if you are interested in all things mafia, you´ll definitely want to take a walk through Las Vegas!

Who wouldn´t want to drive a bright yellow Hummer through the desert outside Las Vegas? Not many people, I suspect! This is a great way to get your kicks outside the casinos. It´s just you, your guide and the hard packed desert dust beneath your military tires.

You can head over terrain that no other vehicle is designed to cover. These Hummers are military grade, developed to cover the harshest terrain. They can easily take on the Nevada Desert and do so with ease. It´s quite fascinating to actually be inside one as you head through the sand and rocks to see the sights available around Las Vegas.
If you´re looking for a great way to surprise your man while in Las Vegas, this is a terrific gift. Book a Las Vegas Hummer adventure and he´ll be thrilled, guaranteed. Rumbling over the desert floor on your way to admire Red Rock Canyon is the best way to enjoy life while you are in Las Vegas.
